1335, 1336, 1337 and 1339 are now back at G.

Haven’t seen 1338 for several weeks so don’t know where that bus is currently.

At the moment, I am pretty confident the number of MAN 18.310 CNG's retired so far is 50. Which means there is 274 left in service.

These are the retired ones:
1200, 1201, 1203 - 1231, 1235, 1238, 1240, 1241, 1253, 1259, 1260, 1273, 1275, 1280, 1285, 1289, 1290 - 1294, 1297, and 1312.

The rest are still in service or registered.

Don't think that ever went to W, even.

Rumoured a few 1200s have been knocked on the head recently, but only 1260 from late last year is unregistered

W1468 involved in an incredibly bizarre collision that somehow resulted in damage to both sides of the bus on the rear. Wonder if it can be panelbeaten or will just be written off.

Edit: Ignore this, sorry. W1459 took the other side's damage.

Pretty easy to scrape a panel off, would say both won't be out of action for very long - Volgren bodywork is designed so those lower panels are easily replaced.

You need a decent hit to the chassis, that causes it irreparable or relative costly damage, to get into write-off territory.

Until a large order of buses is announced, I don't think gas is going anywhere at either G or W for a while yet.

Although depending how the network is timetabled once M1 launches, maybe it will free up buses allowing for more withdrawals.

I was told recently that gas will be gone at G in mid-2026 and at W in mid-2029, though you're right, unless a new order comes it doesn't make sense

I assume 1922 will follow as 1923 - 1926 are already at G?

I'm currently on G5146 running the last 111 ever to 8MP. Farewell 111 and 160, both valiantly served well.

Right now there is exactly 65 MAN CNG’s withdrawn so far, they seem to be getting withdrawn faster now that’s for sure.

It appears that E1596 is tracking as E2145 on AnyTrip for whatever reason, was on it before and it seemed to line up perfectly with 1596.

Does anybody have any interior photos of the Brisbane BZLs (BT, Hornibrook, Transdev), showing particularly the back of the bus? TIA

I got one of Hornibrook's BZLs in 2023. I can answer some questions if you wish.

Thank you. Is the aisle more like this up the back, with two little steps serving the last two seat rows?

bzl2.jpg

Or more like this with only one step up to the back row of seats only?

Are the Brisbane Buses BZLs like either of these alternatives?
