Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2025
S3016/TMR 0153 got into an accident and the front passenger side has quite a bit of damage. Should be easy to repair and get spare parts since its a pretty much brand new bus.

Looks like 1400-1410 to G, which should mean down to 1344 will (eventually) end up at Wdaveeyh wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 10:15 pm Noted some interesting transfers tonight - W1346, W1350, G1402 and G1403.
Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2025
My guess is this is about getting some buses with the driver safety screens to Garden City.
Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2025
W1353, is that a new transfer too?

If I recall correctly I saw 1492 yesterday getting towed on the riverside, smashed up front glass and missing a front panel. Seems repairable too.
Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2025
is it just me that feel that the TFB not really using a lof of their TMR bus compare to other operator that recieve TMR bus? Because I saw sherwood tend to run their B7 (+10 years old bus) on normal route or night shift than the TMR bus (NEW bus). Because i thought when TFB recieve new bus they gonna use that bus more on Sherwood shift.

TMR might charge tfb by mileage?pasha241 wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2025 7:37 pm is it just me that feel that the TFB not really using a lof of their TMR bus compare to other operator that recieve TMR bus? As a driver in Sydney, and knowing how these new TMR buses are set up, it’s possible drivers much prefer to drive the older buses rather than feeling trapped inside a glass cage with poor ventilation looking at an LCD screen which doesn’t quite give the same vision as a real mirror despite the assurances it does.

Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2025
You don't even see very many of Sherwood's B7s with the barrier conversion out at night either (same with those at E, V & C), so I suspect there's more than some merit to that theory.
W seem to mostly favour the barriers on 100/110 at night. Other routes (presumably those shifts that don't do the aforementioned trips) run without barrier buses.

Seen as high as 1418 with/at G.
Also noticed on QLD Rego Check 1260 appears to be unregistered.

My last sighting of 1260 in service was on 18 November 2024.Merc1107 wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 1:50 am Also noticed on QLD Rego Check 1260 appears to be unregistered.

Seen 2052 with electric mirrors, is this a recent swap for the old wing mirrors ?

Conversions to the full barrier and electronic mirrors appear to be ongoing with fleets at E, V, C and S. Noticed G5150 and G5154 in the last week as well.

2939 with the barrier today. One of the first Toowong buses?

MAN 18.310 CNG G1312 also has been de-registered and probably withdrawn for good along with 1297.
Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2025
1312 has been gone for five years or so. Not sure why it was updated on BT Buses in September 2024 that it was back in service as it certainly wasn't.Lachlan-Conley-102 wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 2:12 am MAN 18.310 CNG G1312 also has been de-registered and probably withdrawn for good along with 1297.

G1253 seems to be retired, de-registered.
Re: Transport for Brisbane Observations 2025
Starting to see Metrobuses with Smart Ticketing posters and decals installed today. We might be getting full system rollout sooner than what TMR said a few weeks ago (June or so).

V2229 has its desto replaced, now orange instead of white
