Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
The Olympic Park timetables are again operating for the Women Fifa championships.
Link pages are present for all 9 routes but for routes 1B, 2 and 4 the actual timetables are not available yet.
The timetables for the other routes show a starting date of 17th July (a Monday) but actually operating on Thursdays only covering the first game on 20th July - there is no finishing date. But games at Olympic Park do not all take place on Thursdays so I dont know what will happen when subsequent games take place on other days of the week. The event information for such games all show these routes as operating.

Monday 7/8. Sat 12/8, Wed 16/8 and Sun 20. I guess one or more separately timetables will be issued for bus services on those days.

Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
There is now a timetable for route 2 on the same basis as the others.
Timetables for routes 10HU and 15HU for 27 July show the operator as Hunter Valley Buses. There is still only a small percentage of temporary timetables which show the operator name.

For 31st July temporary routes 60T8 and 62T8 again show the operator as Transdev John Holland - still a rarity for this to happen.

Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
There was discussion on this board a while ago about these routes possibly being renumbered. I would expect the X26 to be renumbered to 526x. The next time this as routes is due to operate is expected to be the NRL Grand Final in October.

Metro temporary routes 11M and 12M for 5 and 6 August show Hillsbus as the operator as usual.
Hunter valley alert 19623 for routes 1HU, 7HU, 18HU, 19HU, and 26HU for 4 and 5 August as usual show Hunter Valley Buses as the operator. Still awaiting timetables for routes 78HU, 79HU and 8AHU.
But most timetables still do not show the operator's name and show the Opal card as not acceptable.

Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
Hunter Line train replacement continues onto Monday the 7th of August which is very rare for daywork trackwork between Newcastle & Maitland. In the past Hunter Valley buses have partially operated this (Thornton Depot) although there is a slight difference where Rover & Port Stephens have operated the weekday rail replacement when this has occurred in the past.Fleet Lists wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 3:08 pm Hunter valley alert 19623 for routes 1HU, 7HU, 18HU, 19HU, and 26HU for 4 and 5 August as usual show Hunter Valley Buses as the operator. Would be very keen to know if this will be the case for next Monday.
I have checked trip planner, there is no replacement bus routes listed for Maitland --> Newcastle Interchange listed as of this post for Monday 7th August.

Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
New temporary timetables have been uploaded for next Monday coming (7th August), good news is I am seeing what I expected to see, it says replacement routes operated by "train replacement bus operator". But if I look at Saturday & Sunday (5th & 6th) it says on the weekend it is operated by just Hunter Valley Buses alone.ScaniaGrenda wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 11:08 am Hunter Line train replacement continues onto Monday the 7th of August which is very rare for daywork trackwork between Newcastle & Maitland. Very high chance Rover or Port Stephens will be making an appearance on the weekday replacement runs for the Hunter Line. Hunter Valley Buses may still jump in where applicable on Monday.

Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
The original 1HU, 7HU and 19HU timetables have been restored by creating separate link pages for the two timetables for each route - necessary because of the different region codes used for the two timetables. 19HU timetable still not available for 7 August.

Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
No real time trip tracking showing for the Hunter lines Train replacement buses this morning, I have a feeling PSC or Costal Liner is running it but will wait and see.
I'd be more curious who and what bus is running on the Newcastle UNI 7HU run between the campus and Warrabrook station given the turn around at Warrabrook station is too tight for anything except a MIDI bus.

7HU is quite frequently shown as being operated by Hunter Valley Buses but for the current service there are two link pages one of which shows as "Opal Card Accepted" but timetable not available and the other "Opal Card not accepted and links to the actual timetable which shows being operated by Rail Replacement operators.

Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables
The timetables for routes 20T4 and 23T4 from 14 August show the normal operated by Transdev John Holland and Opal Card acceptable.
On the other hand Olympic Park route 4 for this Saturday 12 August is being operated by Transit Systems instead of Transdev John Holland. And route 2 is still showing the timetable with Thursday only trips.
