2038 wrapped in the 'Mitsubishi Electric' AOA with the same ad design from year 2018 as on Bus 2578 and 2297.

With Horizons West being the choosen operator for the interim Bayswater - Meltham shuttle (Route 44) while works on the new Bayswater Station is ongoing until its opens as planned in September, 2 ex-Transperth NH's '1559' (1HJA908) and '1754' (1HID851) are used for the service.

Back in 2018 2038 and 2297 were on opposite sides of the fence.

Bill Lumbergh says: "If you could at least do your research, that would be great!"

Please study the timetables or the Transperth app (if you have downloaded already) and look up to see what the last services of the day are for those routes , both the 290 and 291 does not have services that operate past 8PM.

It was a cover trip done by myself in 2536. As the other driver on that certain shift (not sure what depot) couldn't do it, and as it happened to be the shift I was on I was finishing up my 320 when the radio called up for any drivers, hence why I did it

I noticed a number of Freo OCs seem to have annoyingly loud gearboxes. 1932 and 1940 are famous examples.

There are or were plenty of others, 1286, 1291, 1293, 1905, 1925, several 1930s, among others. Just the nature of the ZF gearboxes, occasionally mixed with a poorly-fitted floor access hatch.

Loud gearboxes in the KUBs have also been reported. Like the OCs, they use EcoLife 6-speeds.

I would also like to add - have any of the KUB's gearboxes been replaced at all due to noise? If not, then it's just the same story here. Not particularly worth mentioning in its own right.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

I stand corrected, albeit only half.

€5 KUBs use Ecomat 4, and AFAIK, none of the 1100 SBS Transit KUBs (both €4 and €5) had their gearboxes replaced.

I have seen videos of loud noises from the gearbox of a KUB and it reminds me of the noise made by 1940.

The louder the better!! Go listen to a TransAdelaide MAN SL200 or Volvo B58 if you want properly loud

The day before yesterday, I noticed Tp2373 traversing along Grand Promenade northbound. I wonder if this bus is permanent transfer to Malaga depot?

This was a 000 driving along Grand Promenade. Pretty sure it has permanently transferred to Malaga depot.
