Penrith are operating the majority of 775/6 daytime shorts now especially the early ones that where solely Glendenning run But Mulgrave appear to have more full service routes 325 even ran out of service from St Marys to Start a 770 from Penrith via M4 I'd be curious what route that came off.

1686 is now at Glendenning was on the 771 Thursday

Has anything replaced the massive amount of buses Ryde and Willoughby have lost to Glendenning and Mulgrave?

Not that I've noticed yet, but that said I suspect part of the reason is that Busways Region 1 I believe has reverted to the "normal" timetable whereas Region 7 is still on the "temporary" timetable (and I still see peak period cancellations).

Can't see electric or any other buses turning up in the short term (especially without drivers to drive them), though anything is possible.

Doesn't appear anything gone from Penrith Glendenning or Mulgrave apart from 1196 for a while even the ex Willoughby Scania's are still around at Penrith, must be getting tight on depot space at all 3 soon?

Penrith has gained the Electrics, B10BLES, Yutongs, 857-860 and few high floors and only lost a few high floor Mercs and about 7 LF Scania's the high floors seem like for like replacements.

Glendenning has gained 5 Ex Ryde B10BLEs and 7 ex Sta CB80 Buses

Mulgrave has gained ex Penrith 1111-1119 (Excluding 1112) AND SOME EX CB80s

Ivev always thought the Scania L113CRLs would make a great motorhome, especially if the speed limiter was disabled.

They've been present in region 6 and throughout the CBD for years.

1.Why are they taking so long rolling these B pole bus stop signs out across the bus network

2.There is a real time tracking board at Campbelltown station stand B

I don't know about the Volvo Artic although the Scania L113 you mention is highly likely to be an ex Metro Tasmanian bus, formally MET 188

Image

It is currently listed for sale for $25,000

There was also previously an unknown CB50 bus (highly likely to be one of the former Busways ones) although I don't know if it is there anymore, that was about two years ago but the Scania has always been around where the photo was taken.

CDC NSW appears to have ringfenced its charter operations from its TfNSW region 14 contract, with older Forest Coach Lines route buses dedicated to charter operations, as well as newer vehicles in the liveries of private schools, have retaining Forest branding and accreditation, supplemented by CDC Charter stickers in some cases.

That would explain why it's still there.

Seems to be the relativity average asking price for buses unless it's some 1990's heap of junk that's been trashed and worn down. Even the ex Transperth O405NH's would go for the same price when they were listed by private owners and people would laugh at that asking price.

But it looks to be in relativity nice condition, I've seen worse and the owners still asking for highway robbery prices.

I think they're waiting for a naive buyer who wrongly assumes any full size bus is worth a motsa just because of it's size and weight.

2.There is a real time tracking board at Campbelltown station stand B
1. Because as long as the existing bus stops are easy to identify, it doesn't really matter if the sign is an older yellow bus symbol or a blue B roundel.

2. There are real time displays at a lot of places, including Epping, Macquarie Uni, QVB, Town Hall, Tallawong, Rouse Hill, the Airport, etc

The only reason I know about the Campbelltown real time display is because I wanted to know the reason behind why there was a random pole at stand B with a solar panel on top of it

Hey, there's a Singleton CDC bus about to conclude a 180 to Stockland Greenhills at the moment that's tracking as a Scania L113CRL Ansair Orana, likely to be a B8RLE for Singleton Depot.

There’s at least 4 new buses for Singleton. Sighted 2/4 this afternoon and updated fleetlists. 9845 MO disguised as the Volvo Artic and 9859 MO disguised as the Merc Roadcruiser

Sydney Observers keep a lookout for CDC Thornton 5148 MO. Not long ago passed it near Mt White on the back of a low loader heading South with what looked to be Front End Damage. Desto saying that 140 to Raymond Terrace….

Yikes! Must've struck something real bad

How bad was the front end damage looking?
