Actually, the M originally came from North Sydney tram depot (which it replaced) located on Military Rd.

Re: Bus Observations 2023
The employees there have been known as Wallaby drovers ...
Re: Bus Observations 2023
So it's Milloughby Depot, formerly located in Wilitary Road, Morth Sydney. That's all perfectly clear. I'm bound to remember that now.
Re: Bus Observations 2023
Willoughby depot was never located in North Sydney, that always has been and remains seperate. Given that W was already spoken for, what single letter should it have been coded as?

Re: Bus Observations 2023
The Sydney Olympic Park major bus network map version has been updated to version 9 (16/1/2023). With the continuing driver shortage across the industry it should be another interesting year at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, possibly similar to last year.

Some years ago STA published a "Bus Stop Infrastructure Guide".
Anyone know who is responsible now for this document and monitoring compliance?

Re: Bus Observations 2023
I found a 2011 version of it on the web https://nacto.org/docs/usdg/bus_infrast ... de_nsw.pdf
I doubt that anyone would be maintaining it these days.

Remind me what happened last year - thanks
Re: Bus Observations 2023
So I have started a new job in near Newcastle and have observed quite a lot of Southern Hunter Valley Buses (not Coastal Liner) have been transformed into CDC NSW including Edgeworth 4062 MO (Merc 1830) which I saw on Newcastle Road near Jesmond todayFleet Lists wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:32 pmThe rumour is that Hunter Valley Buses and Coastal Liner will combine into CDC Hunter Valley.

Re: Bus Observations 2023
The only action I’ve not seen yet is any of Thornton or Singos Fleet carrying the CDC NSW Banner. Although I think there might be one of two in Thorntons Fleet that already carry it. The rest seem to be untouched

Re: Bus Observations 2023
I can't recall if there's a second Thornton bus featuring the newer "CDC NSW" logo (Replacing the Hunter Valley Buses logo). m/o 6657 is one of the Thornton buses that has it and was used in a promotion video by CDC NSW to reach out to those who are interested in becoming bus drivers.
There's also a yellow Edgeworth B7RLE CR228L that has the CDC NSW logo (In Canary Yellow Livery) however I can't remember the registration of it.
Not aware of any Singleton buses having them but I may be wrong.

Busways 335 appears to have arrived at Penrith today was seen on the M4 out of service heading towards Penrith Depot at 14:20 very unusual for a Merc to be on the road during Xmas holidays.

As it is not wheelchair accessible, it should not be in service.

Re: Bus Observations 2023
Temporary route 420S will be returning between Friday 3 Feb and Monday 6 Feb.
Robey St will be closed due to the Botany Rail Line duplication project. The single line rail bridge will be removed and replaced with a double track bridge.
TfNSW info website displays the route 420S although no timetable is published or available as a pdf.
Road closure map is available on the Live Traffic website.
