I don't mean to burst your bubble, but Humpty-Doo is a fairly expansive rural area, with a great deal of secluded properties. A lot of the visible properties do seem to have a variety of derelict vehicles (including buses) on them, however.
A better solution would be to follow "buy, swap and sell" pages on FB for the Darwin / Rural areas. You may have more luck with that than hoping an enthusiast happens to stumble across the vehicle. I'm not aware of any active enthusiasts up in the NT, but you never know.
