A lady who ran a tyre place at Batemans bay said that she loved the low profile tyres because when people hit a pothole they often had to buy a new wheel too.
Also at a mine I saw the single drive semis easily get up the gravel road empty where the bogie ones could not.
I love the real tyres on my Hi Ace van and if economically available would get a car with them.
This is a good video in tyres https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8ja-i6Y8UU

Come on let's see some crater shotz.

I called the council after more than 15 minutes wait. Reasonably interested sounding guy on the other end assured me they're working through them now the weather is dry.
I'll go back and check on the ones above in the coming days.

Late last year traveling back from Hobart to Launceston. Just north of Symonds Plains raceway I came across this (one of a few on that stretch). Luckily I was in my Hilux with wide tyres so it wasn't bad for me ... But the lady behind wasn't so lucky ... I heard the crunch from my ute as she hit it behind me ... I thought she was going to lose control of her car it bounced that much ... so pulled up and changed her wheel for her as she was in no state to do it herself

The pothole was at least 6 inches deep

Never thought I'd see one so far away on the other side of Bass Straight lol! That's a nasty one!
The first one from the other day (08/06) was refilled when I revisited it today (12/06).

The other was still there. Hopefully will get attention this week along with the assortment I photographed around the corner on both sides of the street.

Having driven up along the Tweed from Murwillumbah to Nimbin in May its not so much dodge the pothole as find the remaining road.

Picnic Pde Ettalong Beach hasn't been much better for weeks now. Cars have taken to slowing right down in this section and moving to the left before rejoining the right.

The pothole I took a pic of before that got filled, has reared its head again on Fassifern St, Ettalong Beach, right near the corner of Pacific Ave. See earlier pics for comparison.

Happy to say that the affected sections of Picnid Pde had their resurfacing completed more then a week ago and no more moonscape. The quality looks to be good.
Time will tell.

I notice your picture of Neville Wran and this is how I remember as an old man.

When Wran got voted in making himself police minister and putting up big pictures of himself like other dictators, my wife and I were a bit worried.

After the Granville train disaster he took all the money off the electricity mob and spent it on rail so we had so many blackouts and the supermarkets installed backup generators but he was very popular. https://insidestory.org.au/was-neville-wran-corrupt/

Quoting what I said and posting something on a completely unrelated subject strikes me as odd, but that was a good read thanks.
The highlights were Neville Wran's nasty treatment of Donald Mackay's family during a tense meeting (I'd like to find out more of what went on there), and his extreme disdain for Nick Greiner. We are on the same page there, not so much the first one.

After hitting many I thought does this wet weather cost councils more or vehicle owners.

Can't you do everything with your phone? I'd like to see what one looks like from the bottom.

Councils by far but that's why it's costing car owners too. Their lack of action.

I heard on ABC that someone out west hit a pothole wrecking their tyre and they had to buy four new ones as the tyre place did not have a match.

Also another caller said she drove 3,500 km in WA and only saw one pothole as they had enough money to do a major repair.

Uber is going to sell Chinese electric cars to some poor suckers who will sign up for big loans to buy these cars that cannot sell with the extra problem of them wrecking the backroads with their extra weight and low profile tyres and I think low profile tyres should be banned off electric cars due to the extra weight.
