The Evian W class

Hi all.
I've been trying to find some footage or news reports of the 4D, and on my search I have found this weird W class that was in this Evian adwrap some time in Spring of 1992, with weird arched coverings along the windows.
Does anyone have any information on this? Have I just found something that's been unknown for years?

Appears in this video around the 30 second mark.

I think it was 920; It used that set up for a number of different advertising campaigns.

As far as I can see, 920 is the only W cass to have the windows. Guess we now have something for VicSig to add.
Here's the existing page for 920. It's an SW6 that commenced operations on 2/10/1946 and was seemingly put in storage sometime between 1994 and 2001 at Newport Workshops. It was transferred by truck... somewhere in 2021.

I'm fairly sure there used to be several AOA trams with those weird window coverings and a bunch of light globes all around the roof. Almost always without a proper headlight too (most likely the useless dash canopy lights). I also remember one AOA tram which was covered in artificial grass!

Edit: In fact, you can see another one in the photo next to the Leyland National.

"Melbourne's Marvellous Trams" mentions that there was ONE W class converted with the special lightings. Although the book illustrates 4 different liveries, only one shows the car number, with 920 under the windscreen.

The one next to the Leyland Nation looks more like a bus though I'd say.
