Yep! Spotted 1769 hanging around EQ this afternoon.

In addition, 2244 refurbed.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Explains why I saw 1847 and 1344 on 220 and 177 respectively while at VPTS just now.

Just to add one more thing is that some of the stored NH's are out and about again on normal bus services.

NHs: In addition to 1769 on standby at EQBS, 1212, 1213, and 1219 were other NHs active on rail (of which I manage to score a ride on 1212). 1199 on standby at Murdoch, as well as 1215 and 1355 on normal service (departing on a 206 when I stopped by Murdoch).

Some out-of-contract buses included 2247, 2541, 2601, and 2780, although given it being another massive shutdown I presume out-of-contract isn't that unusual in this context.

*FOOTNOTE: 1215, which I spotted at Murdoch on a 510 and declined to ride since I was headed to Bull Creek... and to my chagrin, arrived at Bull Creek on a 500 while I was waiting for a 919...

You can add 2018 and 2032 to that list - they were the ones I was driving on the 949 :)

Some kid was sucking air out of a basketball but that's normally happening on 558

That's worth contacting Transperth about if you saw it happen - you can do so HERE. The information can be forwarded to the contractor (Transdev), the CCTV can be downloaded, the miscreants identified (for what little that is worth ... it's possible they're well-known to drivers in the area) and the graffiti removed by maintenance staff.

I absolutely detest graffiti on public transport. It's good the issue is taken so seriously by the PTA / Transperth / and bus contractors. There was a very abrupt uptick in the occurrence of it just before COVID started in the Freo area, which also coincided with the Transperth app rolling out a feature to report damaged stops, which I went absolutely nuts on to try and get ahead of whoever is responsible for three or four very common tags appearing on stop infrastructure.

I'm currently at mandurah station and went to the bus depot and it seems like there aren't any 0405nh there. Does that suggest they are in service?

They're hinged panels that snap into position. It probably just needs to be pushed shut.

Nothing to say those NHs aren't running out of Rockingham, or even Freo (in that case it would be covering a shift for Rocky or Mandurah).

I've been in mandurah for an hour I might go to rocky station for and hour and see because I'm mainly just waiting for a 0405nh

Unless it's a Stadium event day, the likelihood of finding an NH on a Sunday is low - in fact it would only be a driver deliberately asking for one, given plenty of much newer buses are available.
