And adding to this, I strongly recommend that please check if such sightings have already been documented in the past using the forum's search engine (eg. check allocation of a specific bus), as well as digging into other threads that are delicated to bus allocations, service changes or other specific topic to find the information you want rather than making random guesses. Thank you for your corporation

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2022
2619 and 2634 are CAT buses in the city based at Claisebrook in special livery. Hardly newsworthy.
Unless you saw 2139 in standard green and silver livery working the 253 in Serpentine, then that is a rare sight (but may become reality in the next 2-3 years).

I spotted 3063 doing a 160 on Hay Street near Bennett Street this morning.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2022
Again not unusual at all as it is based in Fremantle Depot and Freo operates the 160...TransRegional wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:32 pm I spotted 3063 doing a 160 on Hay Street near Bennett Street this morning.

It's had that bumper since at least 2013. Don't know why, though.
Cheers!

I spotted 2594 doing a 27 this morning on Hay Street near Bennett Street.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2022
For the benefit of everyone on the board, please do a little research before posting to determine if a sighting is actually unusual or is a perfectly normal trip.TransRegional wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 8:28 pm I spotted 2594 doing a 27 this morning on Hay Street near Bennett Street.
There are fleetlists posted elsewhere on the board which should give you a rough idea if a sighting is unusual and worth posting here, and feel free to ask if you're genuinely unsure, but please, there are thousands and thousands of timetabled services in Perth each day, you do not need to post here every time you see a bus on the street.

I'd be more surprised to see 2594 on an 81 in Wembley. But then again, anything is possible, hey?TransRegional wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 8:28 pm I spotted 2594 doing a 27 this morning on Hay Street near Bennett Street.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2022
Rockingham's buses that were on loan to Fremantle for the rail replacement period have all returned home, I was on 2989 this morning and have seen 2988 and 2991 at Warnbro Station. I'd say Mandurah's buses should be back home now as well.pasha241 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 5:33 pm i just wanna ask. will all Mandurah return to Mandurah from now or wait until the school start. also will NH stay longer now or will they get withdrawn after mandurah closourer. (especially in last december there are a period where they reduce volvo shift from freo and increase their usage of CNG bus)/

Is this in Busso? Anyway which bus has the full CR222 front? It looks like one of them CNG-powered Volvo B10BLEs from Singapore which have since been decommissioned. Sadly I never got to ride in those.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2022
Obviously it'll look like another bus with the same body... Anyway, it would have to be one of 811, 812, 813, 814 or 816 (all ZF O405NH's original to Bunbury City Transit).Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 9:37 pmIs this in Busso? Any word of 3000? Was hoping it would be in operational condition for the Mandurah shutdown.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2022
As per previous messages above, these are fairly regular runs. Not unusual for a typical Perth day. The fleet list by depot/region thread is there for the purpose (partly) of checking observations; 1982 is a Freo bus, thus running on the 532 is a common occurrence. The Circle Route 998/999 utilises buses from all three operators holding nearby depots, so it's not unusual for both to be running 999s.
Again, ask if unsure, but these perfectly normal observations flood the thread and may obscure other, more prominent, actually unusual observations, such as 1840 running a 930 last week due to the Mandurah Line shutdown.

It is listed on tender documents, and is still registered, so is evidently meant to be working... but for whatever reason (and there are many) it is not.Bus Suggestions wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 12:27 pm Any word of 3000? Was hoping it would be in operational condition for the Mandurah shutdown.

It's apparently still registered. 1234-53, meanwhile, are out of rego as of 31-12.Bus Suggestions wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 12:27 pm Any word of 3000? Was hoping it would be in operational condition for the Mandurah shutdown.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2022
It has always been based at Palmyra, with the only exception being when it was demonstrated at the other contractors earlier in life. They could allocate it to Rocky, and it would not make a difference to any parts issues.Tp2323 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 10:08 pmits at freo due to needing parts from across the worldBus Suggestions wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 12:27 pm Any word of 3000?
