She's a high mileage set- nothing out of the ordinary wrong with it and certainly not withdrawn. There was a recent full yard isolation and I believe her batteries went flat.

Haha yeah I know she’s high mileage I didn’t know about the yard isolation though mate just been getting the train a bit more lately and just been a bit observant do you know if the B series ever going to be refurbished was in 6075 over the weekend and it’s looking very tired the seats had a lot of wear and was overall just very grimy and scuffed from the perspective of a passenger the presentation isn’t great especially with them being newish trains

Further to the set ten stuff, she is a stopper at the moment along with 23, 27 and 35.

Ten for bogie repairs (awaiting parts I imagine), 23 and 27 for electrical gremlins and 35 for collision repairs.

No idea regarding the B series general overhauls- I know they have done bits and pieces internally over the years but not sure about the mechanical/body side to them.

Happy weekend to you all.

AOA Bus 2318 on-loan to Welshpool Depot, sighted running a 34T minutes ago.

Buswest 1HOQ742 - Mercedes-Benz O500R/King Long presumably ex-NT rego'ed ones, now wearing new Buswest titles on the exterior sides, replacing the ATG Downunder one.

On June 30th this year, West Coast Bus Charters/GoPartyBus and alongside some other operators shuttled students of LSC into and out of Ern Clark Athletic Track. Apart from the mix of B10L, O405NH's and the 2 bendies (ex-662/ex-730) of the GoPartyBus fleet, some of the interesting visitors on the day were WCBC's CVL4204/ex-UQB709, 1HCF353/ex-TP1128 and Cascade Tours 1HFI675/ex-Connections Adventures (QLD) MO2363.

I thought the answer would've been obvious... It's a new bus, essentially a service prototype/pre-production. Likely, it's touring depots so drivers and staff can experience it, test drive, assess the mechanics etc. Demonstration for other contractors/operators.

No need to yell about it - it's been touring depots over the past two weeks or so, if one was following through perthbus.info.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Probably on trial with 555. As I posted earlier, this is a potential candidate for electric buses. Just a matter of having the appropriate infrastructure fitted at Rocko.

While I dislike copying observations from other public sources (such as perthbus.info), I feel as if it is necessary in this case on the account of baseless speculative ideas.

Previous photos posted over the past two weeks on perthbus have shown 4002 at Bayswater, Malaga, and Palmyra (alongside Joondalup from another source). This precedent establishes that 4002 is 'on tour' to multiple depots, demonstrating it to staff and other personnel. There has been no notice of 4002 in service at all. It can't be on trial in service on route 555 - even you (Enviro 500) mention that the appropriate infrastructure hasn't been fitted at Rockingham - only at Joondalup, where 4002 will be based alongside the other BZLs.

Now can we please make sense of observations, such as using other sources as an explanation to happenings where possible - if you noticed perthbus.info's recent updates over the past weeks you would have seen it at different depots, and should have come to the conclusion that it's on a demonstration tour - and stop coming up with baseless speculations in this thread.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

A very reliable source of mine has confirmed 4002 is indeed doing a tour around the depots, although it is currently sporting This Service Proudly Operated by Transdev stickers it does not mean anything as to where it will be permantley located...... These stickers are easily changable.

The photos I've seen do seem to show the changing operator sticker.

Like any new bus type, a bit of show and tell. 2960 did the same about 3yrs back, although nobody got to drive it, to the best of my knowledge (nor did all three operators give the drivers the opportunity to critique the build either, from what I was told).

It’s been a while for regional movements. Does anyone know when there will be anymore regional movements this year?

Leeds are playing Crystal Palace tonight at Optus Stadium, with Manchester United vs Aston Villa taking place tomorrow.

CAT buses have in the past displayed messages of support for WA-based AFL sides during the Western derby.

It's been there alongside 2600-2605 since over a month ago, so nothing new.
