Transdev John Holland's orphan Scania K310 / Volgren 2108 has escaped from its usual peak-hour only diagram, being sighted on a 390X today.

No surprises with a mass exodus due to privatisation, no more free travel (!). Maybe try supporting drivers when they get attacked by criminal passengers.

Two Propert bodies and a Syd Wood classic 1940s style (no.9). I hope the Bus Museum has an example from this Syd Wood golden period.

Just got back from a walk around Woronora, and found a rather delapidated stop that had ol Connex Southtrans and maybe Connex NSW signage!

You have to look REALLY closely due to much damage from the sun, but the markings are still there!

There's a well surviving Westway stop in Auburn, probably from being unused (nearest route being the 909 which probably got rerouted at some point due to low patronage)

Sydney Transport groups former TV 1320 lives on, it's currently in the hands of a private owner who has listed it for sale on Facebook for $70,000 in a bit of early decaying state.

No current registration & owner says it's done around 220,000km's.

Perhaps 1,220,000 is a bit more accurate?

Interesting the analogue speedometers on buses don't include a millions digit, as over a million isn't uncommon on route service buses .

Very good point!!! It's the bus equivalent to five digit odometers in older cars. Not hard to engineer in!

Probably a deliberate ploy to keep it ambiguous for the next sale.

Busways 1668 entered service at Penrith in Sta Blue front and Rear livery but has an all white Body much better livery than the Garish white livery and a slight nod to the white livery the Custom Mercs carry at Penrith

I've seen what may appear to be a Yutong minibus (something along the lines of their ZK6760DAA model) parked at Newcastle Coaches Sandgate depot that's on Ferry road Sandgate. It was parked at 45 Degrees among other buses there so am unable to confirm further details but It's enough to know it's a Yutong of some sort from the public road.

Not sure if that’s the case or not otherwise Transdev recent Volvo B10 CB60 would’ve been in blue but they are white, would someone clarify this quote or is it an operator decision?

is it actual paint? Almost everything these days seems to just be some big sticker slapped onto the side, just look at Melbourne, especially the HCMT. Tons of those cars have horrible air bubbles under the plastic.

Transdev are an exception as they are still operating under the 2005 contracts which were extended in 2013 without the addition of the extra conditions which added a number of new conditions for the other regions which had new contracts.

I dont know why Busabout and Busways were treated differently.
