Can anyone identify this bus?

Can anyone identify this bus?
It appears to be a small Bedford with local bodywork.
The registration number (548-148) is not in any database that I have tried.
The date of the photograph is Tuesday, 27th September 1983.
The location is O G Road Klemzig SA, not far from the O-Bahn then under construction.

This bus was new to Transway Services P/L - local bus operator in Elizabeth and Salisbury areas. It is a Bedford SB3 with Freighter body number 2763 of 3/65. It was Transway fleet number 20. It was replaced in 1973 by a new Leyland

Many thanks VIKing.

You are correct. That is the origin of that Bedford.

I attempted searches for the registration number on both the Bus Australia fleet lists and Google, but did not find it. Once you pointed out the match with the first Transway number 20, the penny dropped. If I had tried the rego with a dot, such as "548.148", I would have found it. Unfortunately, there is no standard way of representing old, all-digit SA number plates!

May you get your reward in Valhalla.
