The Mandurah and Rocko buses are on loan to Freo Depot in preparation for the rail replacement, they were all moved up there earlier in the week.
i thought it was related what happen to freo volvo. btw which freo bus that loan to mandurah.

Probably none - for two reasons. First being the need to bolster the existing Freo fleet in preparation for the upcoming rail shutdown (surprised they haven't brought up artics but depends on what rail replacement routes Transdev are running), the second being that a lot of Mandurah's work is comprised of school trips that aren't running presently and so the number of buses in use during peak would likely be less.

nothing has happened to Freo's Volvo's, they havn't lost any...... just B7s being transferred out and replaced with new B8s.

List of Transdev buses that are at Fremantle temporarily for rail (I admit I haven't seen every single one of these buses, but I've seen the majority and can fill in the blanks!)

I've seen Swan buses used on the Mandurah RR, how are they run? Are they temporarily loaned to Freo and driven by Transdev for the RR, or are some of the trips run by Swan?
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

From my observations on a Sunday/Public Holiday, here's a list of which operator is running a specific trip:

Swan Transit: 929 and 949
Path Transit: 919
Transdev: 909 and 939

Swan Transit: 919, 929 and 949
Path Transit: 919
Transdev: 909 and 939
That might explain my sighting of PATH 3096 at Booragoon bus stn, must've been running the 919 and a had a scheduled meal break at Booragoon seeing as it's the closest stn to Bull Creek.

Swan doesn't operate the 919, it's only run by Path.

Additionally, the 919, 929 and 939 are mostly run by articulated buses, while the 909 and 949 are mostly rigids. Not surprising to see some shifts have their meal breaks elsewhere given the limited layover space at the freeway stations and tendency towards artic use

That is my bad, no idea how I added that but I have since fixed the above list.

I've noticed less artics are operated during the off peak 950s (both PATH and Swan) definately must have something with the ongoing rail replacements.

Bull Creek's facilities are quite space restricted, so not surprising a bus turned up at Booragoon.

While the reduction in 950 artics is expected - given there are several farther-flung depots (Joondalup, Midvale, Kalamunda) with artics that are quite likely over-sized for school holidays service, why not swap them over to make up for lost capacity on the 950?

I don't know whether that is necessary or not, I was on board an off peak 950 yesterday on a B7 rigid and wasn't much pax on board.

i just want to ask does SWan bus from other depo (Midvale, Karrinyup, Joondalup) does do mandurah rail line on loan temporary at Canning vale and cover some of their local route (Like Mandurah/Rocky bus at Freo) or after they finish their shift they comeback to their original depo.

2791 on revenue service now as it was seen late last night on 960. Is it still a Morley bus or has it been transferred to WP?

Any shortfalls in capacity likely won't show up until the New Year when people return to work after their Christmas/NY break. Although with Uni and Schools both out (aside from University trimesters and that sort of skulduggery), perhaps the issue won't be too bad...

Although, I don't think anybody truly knows what will happen on the 1st January when the two-zone fare cap comes into play.
IF (and it's a big if, at that) patronage surges as people try out the Transperth network, you'd want those big buses out just in case. First impressions are everything; if people are confronted with overflowing buses and trains in the midst of a pandemic, they might just go back to their cars.

Swan Transit: 929 and 949
Path Transit: 919
Transdev: 909 and 939
Swan Transit is the organiser/manager for the Mandurah Line rail replacement with the bulk of RR services split between Swan Transit and Transdev, Path Transit are doing approximatley 10% of the RR services.
