Merseylink Coaches NEWEST addition

Post by Tas Bus Nut »

Merseylink Coaches have joined the preservation scene, with owner Grant Bingley purchasing a bus similar to the first vehicle
he owned and operated many many years ago. This bus came from Sth Australia and will be restored over time (7yrs he said)

A nice photo study of the Bedford CAC - a beautiful and simple bus of its time. Thanks for posting.
Think for yourself, while it's still legal !

Always pleased to see vintage buses enter preservation. A good antidote to the mind numbing tedium of modern yawn inducing vehicles - particularly private operators Chinese disposables! (with apologies to drivers who appreciate the comfort of new vehicles). Of course, when these vintage vehicles were introduced, I probably would have said the same thing, pining for the trams!!

Anyway, does anyone have a history on Merseylink's Bedford?

Cheers,
Z

Off memory AEC Regal, I was advised it came from SA, but he didn't elaborate.
