he owned and operated many many years ago. This bus came from Sth Australia and will be restored over time (7yrs he said)

Always pleased to see vintage buses enter preservation. A good antidote to the mind numbing tedium of modern yawn inducing vehicles - particularly private operators Chinese disposables! (with apologies to drivers who appreciate the comfort of new vehicles). Of course, when these vintage vehicles were introduced, I probably would have said the same thing, pining for the trams!!
Anyway, does anyone have a history on Merseylink's Bedford?
