Omsi Two Stuff
Hey all.
Quite possibly a long shot but I'm trying to recreate the Volgren CR228L bodywork for OMSI and at the moment I'm pretty much purely going off of photos I've found and a schematic of the Optimus that I've found online as well. Someone wouldn't happen to have the designs for the CR228L bodywork at all, would they?
For reference.
Until then, here's a few other things I've created for OMSI:
Thanks,
Mitch

Re: Volgren CR228L
Hello, I like your shots, just wondering, what software are you using to make the CR228 and what simulator...

Re: Volgren CR228L
It does say in the op that it's for OMSI (probably OMSI 2, since it's the newer one).
Cheers!

Re: Volgren CR228L
It's almost definitely Blender. But possibly an older version, not the current 2.80 release.
Ironically, I'm occasionally working on a 1999 CR222L body, but it has no chassis due to a lack of reference pics. If anybody can locate a L94UB raw chassis diagram or picture, it would be appreciated.
And to the OP, how did you learn to model like this so quickly? The model looks ok in my opinion.

Re: Omsi Two Stuff
Bit of an update.
Playing around with a repaint I made for another bus.
The livery that inspired the whole project, now with added CoachAir XT air-conditioning unit.
Thanks,
Mitch

Looks nice so far. I wish I could figure out Blender like others have, but despite going through many tutorials, I haven't really gotten anywhere.

Re: Omsi Two Stuff
It's been a while since I've posted any update here. I shelved the Express for a little bit as it was giving me the absolute sh*ts but here's where I got to in the end.
I've also begun a new project... which was really the first project:
Cheers,
Mitch

Re: Omsi Two Stuff
Hi all,
Realised that it had been a bit of time since I'd posted any kind of update to my workings with OMSI and modelling. I'd moved away from the Express because it was, like the Volgren, giving me issues. I ended up moving back to the Volgren.
Work is busy so the project is on a slow burn but it's definitely processed from a square with some curves on it. Some updates below.
Thanks,
Mitch
