The state primary school cross-country was held at Symmons Plains on June 25. Over 50 buses/coaches transported students from
across the state, making it an ideal event to capture some of the vehicles operating for different operators across Tasmania. I was
fortunate to attend the event and get these photographs. There were numerous mini-buses, and although I photographed a couple,
I have never been a fan, so they are few and far between.

Have always enjoyed your capture of vehicles in Tassie on here Tas Bus Nut, likewise with this lot.
Certainly a mix of Chinese built vehicles in this collection, and the dreaded 'white' livery.

Think for yourself, while it's still legal !

Great selection of vehicles, Neil. The amount of white or nearly white vehicles was amazing. And plenty of modern Chinese equipment.
Could the majority of buses do a morning school run, then get to Symmons Plains then make it back for a PM school run?

Those vehicles used would have made it back. All departed approx. 1:45pm, so those close certainly would have. Majority were charter coaches, not contract ones (I'd imagine) Will be interesting next week, what's used on the Secondary Schools.burrumbus wrote:Great selection of vehicles, Neil. The amount of white or nearly white vehicles was amazing. And plenty of modern Chinese equipment.
