116 has now been removed of its decals and won’t be in service any more. Got told this by a HBL driver

176 now has huge fleet numbers on its roof, just seen at Kallangur from a train.
Shame all the early fleet are going now. I seen 117 on Friday but not seen any below that for a long time.

8 buses have been transferred to Keolis SA and another 2 sold to a local SEQ operator.
No numbers yet but seems 109-117 May have gone to SA (not 111 of course) and 107/108 maybe to Red and White? Just an assumption.
118 was in Kippa Ring last week.

109-117 is correct. They will be based at Mt Gambier and used for the town services which Link SA just won the contract for, commencing on October 3rd. From my understanding they are a stop-gap until new buses have been purchased/constructed.
First person on 822, 865 (2016 re-route).

Thanks for that. I’ve also heard that the next influx of new buses will be Dec 2024 so the red livery on 118/119/121 should live on a little longer as well as 44/45 & 46.

Think I found it on a Dan B video uploaded 10 days ago, can tell it's ex HBL because of the red strip at the front and also the same interior ads.

Red Volgren 116 is back in service being seen at Kippa Ring train station yesterday. I thought this batch 109-116 (minus 111) had gone to SA to help out till their new buses come on service?
Also seen was Translink Green 47.

Looking at LinkSA's fleetlists and post on LinkedIn, the only buses that seem to have gone over there are 110, 113 and 109. Not sure what happened to the others but I know 44 went to Thompsons and 45 went to Lighthouse.

I had an email from the state manager for Keolis and he confirmed 8 were sent to SA and 2 others sold locally to operators in SEQ. one would assume 109-110/112-117 would go as 118 was still here but with adverts taken off. Maybe 118 went instead of 116??

The 8 sent to SA would be 107-115 (excluding 111) and the 2 sold locally would be 44 and 45, which means 116 upwards is still in service.

I will be visiting Mt Gambier in early December and hope to settle these questions.

117 is here also. It would make sense that 107-115 (exc 111) would be there as none of this batch have been seen back here, especially 107/108.

118 and a few of the old guard of Hornibrook buses have been doing quite a bit more Translink routes than the usual school affair due to some being based at North Lakes depot. Had the pleasure of riding 118 doing a Kallangur bound 685 today.

Previously unrecorded indeed although it has been around for a while at Goolwa, and possibly Nuriootpa for a bit. I believe the replacement should be arriving this year and will leave it at that. The ex-Murray Bridge Iveco will also probably be retired. Was 309 there too or just 310?

No sighting of 309 and I dd go past after any school buses should have been home. There is a large shed at the back of the property but no evidence they were using it or of any office. Buses were just parked in the middle of a large yard with a container or two at one side presumably for storage and a driver room.
