You got a real flash bus, but my one's flash one, eh
And I believe that my one's faster than yours, Mr Bond
'Cause mine's a red one'

Re: Which Vehicle Is It - South Australia
I get the feeling it's a Morphettville bus so I'll guess 1104?
Re: Which Vehicle Is It - South Australia
Would a Morphettville Depot bus be doing a C!? I thought they did mainly M44's and G40's?

Lower than 1129, higher than 1104

As you well know any bus from any depot can be doing any of a company's routes at any time. When LCB first started, Morphettville only ran M44 (and variants), G40, N1 & N541 services, but for a long time now Morphettville buses run any O-Bahn service.jibb wrote:Would a Morphettville Depot bus be doing a C!? I know it can't be 1106, so I'll guess 1105?howlerbus wrote:Lower than 1129, higher than 1104

At the risk of sounding like a nerd, the number has been edited out below the rearmost window, which suggests a St Agnes unit.
1122?
1122?
Re: Which Vehicle Is It - South Australia
Hehe I forgot about that, that rules 1105 out! I was thinking it didn't look like a fleet number has been covered up on the front yellow panel, but likely in the front nearside corner window, hence why I thought it was a Morphettville bus!TA3001 wrote:At the risk of sounding like a nerd, the number has been edited out below the rearmost window, which suggests a St Agnes unit.
My next guess is 1117. Hard to pick these when new enough that there are very few (if any) noticeable differences between units in the same series.

For those who still follow this thread, here's a now retired rail replacement vehicle to guess.

Clue - The engine was still in good condition when it was retired, which rules out a few of them.
