Various interesting police vehicle photos I found whilst trawling the internet. All are from Victoria Police as far as I can tell.

As society grows, so do our police services.
Western Australia Police are currently rolling out the concept police vehicle across the state

Any WA members have any snaps of these vehicles?

Re: Random Police Vehicles
Mean looking vehicle!
I'm going to post a few QLD police cars that you might need to look twice at!
And last but not least...
The only photo that I took was the one of the black hybrid Camry, all other photos were hosted on the Brisbane UC police facebook page (which has been endorsed by the QPS, before you start).
Some food for thought!

Re: Random Police Vehicles
I've heard lots about QLDPol's unmarked fleet, a highly diverse range of vehicles to say the least!
I personally don't believe in the whole 'deceiving the public' by using a huge variety of unmarked vehicles to catche people in the act, very sneaky in my opinion.
I'm in favour of high visibility vehicles such as the concept car, it poses a huge deterrent to motorists thinking of doing the wrong thing. High visibilty policing is the way to go at this time, it has been proved in NSW.

Re: Random Police Vehicles
1st time I've seen a Dunny door with the CHEV badge (as a Police vehicle). In response to MetroTasCatcher, YES hi-vis vehicles are more a deterrent, but IMO unmarked vehicles (especially) a large range of them, makes you think twice ALL THE TIME about doing the wrong thing. The most unusual unmarked vehicles I have seen here in Tassie, are/were the white Toyota UTES, very inconspicuous.

Re: Random Police Vehicles
Agree with Neil, I dont think using unmarked cars is sneaky, there are some fools out there who deserve to be caught and most times to blend in with other cars is a way to nab them, one offence comes to mind and a lot seem to get away with that is the use of mobile phones while driving, i see it all the time.Hi Vis patrol cars have their use as well as usefull deterrant and in pursuit cases.Everytime I see someone pulled over by a unmarked car I have a little chuckle more so after seeing them on a mobil phoneTas Bus Nut wrote:1st time I've seen a Dunny door with the CHEV badge (as a Police vehicle). Re: Random Police Vehicles
I'm surprised no one has posted the photos of the NSW Hi-Vis vehicles.
They are previously unmarked vehicles that have been converted, and feature messages on the rear to promote safer driving.
They are previously unmarked vehicles that have been converted, and feature messages on the rear to promote safer driving.
All photos from NSW Police facebook page.In a bid to help communicate the messages of the State Government’s new Plan B drink driving campaign and other road safety initiatives, the NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol proposed that a number of unmarked patrol cars could be branded with messages relevant to NSW motorists.
The concept was approved for funding by the State Government and the first two cars – previously unmarked Ford FPV Typhoons – have been branded with Plan B drink driving messages.
It is anticipated that a further 50 unmarked cars will be branded with road safety messages over the next year, with the messages tailored to the roads the cars patrol.
