Re: Which Vehicle Is It - South Australia
Glad to see you having a go, Tas Bus Nut. Unfortunately there has never been a bus in Adelaide numbered 1544. What you are seeing is one of our classic MAN SL200 buses; still painted in its original silver livery.Tas Bus Nut wrote:I wouldn't have a clue. . . BUT I'll get you started.

Why would a Southlink bus be displaying "1H WOODVILLE", considering it was Torrens Transit providing the Outer Harbor subs.busrider wrote:I'm going to guess... 2440?
would be Correct. Your turn, TT.TT wrote:1888 ?

145?
I'm guessing this was a double division bus as all rail subs were meant to be low-floor?

I saw the STA-style desto there and thought it was one of The Mayor's history tours... And after that I saw the rail replacement sign next to it.The Phonj wrote:Why would a Southlink bus be displaying "1H WOODVILLE", considering it was Torrens Transit providing the Outer Harbor subs.busrider wrote:I'm going to guess... 2440?

I was tossing up between 1888 and 145. Picked the right one.
I don't have any photos to go, so I guess that means it's open.

Re: Which Vehicle Is It - South Australia
Actually, to Torrens' credit; I only ever recall one high floor bus on H1 services - over the whole period. This photo was a "mock-up" - the driver of the SL200 stopped in to Woodville for some reason; and the destination was quickly put up and a photo taken; as it never happened in real life.Eagle Eye wrote:145?

Looks like us Croweaters haven't really caught onto this game yet! Have a go at this one. I've blurred the rego, rear desto and fleet numbers on the side, back, and air con.

I saw the "Hispacold" Aircon and forgot that some had been transferred to Southlink.. Noticing it was Mawson Lakes thought it may have been a bus on train subs.
