This is mainly aimed at Vitalstatistix although anyone who does know is welcome to reply.

Weekdays, is there a list available of which buses operate on what route in Hamilton, particularly on the Go Bus Routes, and if so, could it be provided please?

Thanks in advance.

2 Silverdale (older CNG buses)
3 Dinsdale (diesel)
4 Flagstaff (older CNG buses)
5 Chartwell (half CNG half diesel)
6 Mahoe (diesel)
7 Glenview (diesel)
8 Frankton (diesel)
9 Nawton (diesel)
10 Hillcrest (diesel)
11 Fairfield (new CNG buses)
12 Fitzroy (new CNG buses)
13 University (new CNG buses)
14 Claudlands (half CNG half diesel)
15 Ruakura (older CNG buses)
16 Rototuna (new CNG buses)
17 Ham East/Uni (diesel)
18 Te Rapa (diesel)
26 Templeview (diesel)
30 Northerner (usually diesel)
RD Rototuna Direct (half CNG half diesel)

Hope this helps, If you're looking for more detail feel free to ask. :)

Yep, more detail please!

I am of the understanding that Go Bus usually allocate specific buses to specific runs. If this is still the case, then great, I would love to know what they are. If not, id be keen to know the types that are seen (CNG 12.223, standard 12.223, 11.190 etc) so I can try and visualise what they use where.

Ta :-)

Yes this is partly the case now. The majority of buses used to be allocated to a specific route, but many of the diesels now work on a weekly rotation between several different routes.
The following is to the best of my knowledge.

Go Bus 35, 70 It's getting hard to see these ones especially 70. Usually only operating route 15 these days
Go Bus 71 - 74 best chance for these 11.190's are on route 15. Otherwise can be seen operating route 05/14 split or route 02 (peak only).
Go Bus 78 - route 10
Go Bus 79 - route 16 or RD
Go Bus 81 - 85 Route 02, 04, 05/14 split and 15
Go Bus 86 - route 02
Go Bus 87 - route 04
Go bus 88 - not seen much of these days, when out usually on route 02 or 04
Go Bus 151 - route 30
Go Bus 161 - 168 operate route 11, 12. They also operate on morning and afternoon peak runs on various routes and replace some of the older CNG's in between these times. These howlers are restricted to certain routes due to noise levels.
Go Bus 169 and 170 - These longer wheelbase CNG's operate on route 13
Go Bus 171 - Hamilton's most awesomeness of buses operates route 10
Go Bus 175 - 177 These longer wheelbase MAN 16.223's generally rotate between routes 01. 03, 06, 07, 08 and 18
Go Bus 179 - 180 These are the newest buses in the Go Bus urban fleet having been delivered around mid 2008. They float around various routes.
Go Bus 181 - 185 Again these 16.223's float around various diesel routes
Go Bus 186 - 193 These MAN 12.223's again float rotate between the various diesel routes.
Go Bus 194 generally operates route 01
Go Bus 195 generally operates route 17. It also flies over to Tauranga from time to time.
Go Bus 196 generally route 09
Go Bus 197 rotates around the various diesel routes.
Go Bus 198 and 199 - same as 197.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Lucky, one school camp year we travelled on one of Murphy's Ford R1114's with Midland bodywork between Thames and Hamilton. I'm pretty sure that was one of its last jobs it ran before retirement. I also recall one year travelling on one of Hodgsons Mercedes Benz OF1617 coaches again with Midland body.

Ritchies 526, InterCity vehicle. Seen operating School service thru Waimauku to Helensville on Thursday morning. They must have been short of buses. The Helensville depot was empty when I went past.

Any idea on the Registration of those 4 digit Go Bus vehicles so they can be added to the fleet lists?
