Metro's TRAINING buses

Post by Tas Bus Nut »

The last two (2) VOVIs retired from service in Hobart, have been converted to TRAINING BUSES.
Here are some pics of them in their "NEW" livery/signage.

You'd think they'd use artics as training buses!?

You are started off in the rigid's before moving up into the artics.
We don't have enough of them to cover the peak times, let alone give some to training!
Wonder when the idea of bringing #705 back into service will make sense considering we are so short of artics....

I was lucky enough to do a lap of the yard in 142 this week.
They have most seats still in place, with one missing opposite the back doors where a whiteboard has been placed over the window and the rear facing seats at the front have been removed.
