OMG, thankyou so much, im just trying to get hold of one of our newest members 'Atlantean1016' to let him know, he will just be over the moon! Just in regards to your mental note Reub of not putting the red hubcaps on, I think the plan is around Wagga we will have both front and rear hubcaps on but when we go away we will probably take them off or leave the back ones on

I never saw ONE Atlantean in DGT/PTC/UTA service that had any dress rims on the front wheels OR red Leyland caps on the rear wheels.

And welcome back to the ATDB, Bottle. :D
Posting some of your Eastern AEC photos would be nice.

It's the only photograph I've ever actually seen of 1016 in Govt. service :!:

The photograph was taken outbound on Pittwater Rd Dee Why just past the Lismore Ave intersection where the route 180 turns left for Collaroy Plateau.
The building in the background is Dee Why RSL just beyond the Hawkesbury Ave intersection.

Thanks Toxana, I've amended the caption to show the correct location.

Question was the Palm beach/Avalon runs in the days of the Atlanteans limited stops like L90 even though they displayed the 190 route number or were they all ports of call once you hit Falcon St on the out bound journey.

As I remember it, it was Limited Stops, with a similar stopping pattern to what it is now. In Peak Hour an express 190 ran, first stop Mona Vale Junction. I have seen First Set Down Mona Vale Junction on old North #3 rolls.
