I never saw ONE Atlantean in DGT/PTC/UTA service that had any dress rims on the front wheels OR red Leyland caps on the rear wheels.wgaBloke wrote:Wow thankyou so very much for this, what can i say it looks great, .........(makes mental note, do not put on the red leyland centres) .
Thanks Toxana, I've amended the caption to show the correct location.TOXANA wrote:The photograph was taken outbound on Pittwater Rd Dee Why just past the Lismore Ave intersection where the route 180 turns left for Collaroy Plateau.
The building in the background is Dee Why RSL just beyond the Hawkesbury Ave intersection.
As I remember it, it was Limited Stops, with a similar stopping pattern to what it is now. In Peak Hour an express 190 ran, first stop Mona Vale Junction. I have seen First Set Down Mona Vale Junction on old North #3 rolls.gregrudd wrote:Question was the Palm beach/Avalon runs in the days of the Atlanteans limited stops like L90 even though they displayed the 190 route number or were they all ports of call once you hit Falcon St on the out bound journey.
