Another update from Gympie:

1. Polleys has another new bus, a 2021 Denning INTEGRAL (the Phoenix has had a name change?). Reg XQ 72QE. VIN 6V9P09DENLA070029.
Name of the bus and specs are TBC.

2. Barton’s have a new bus - a 2021 Hino RN8J/P&D.
Reg XQ 40RG. VIN JHDRN8JSMXXX10149.

3. The bus involved in yesterday’s accident was Barton’s 667 VXV. The future active status of the bus remains unknown as it is early. Condolences to the man who passed away and his family, best of luck to his father also. Also best of luck to the bus driver and the kids involved yesterday.

I will update the above info further when I find out more.

Polleys SPARTAN buses, “Kookaburra” and “Tigger” are both no longer in service and are now both unregistered.

Tigger, Kookaburra and Pelican are no longer in use (the 2 Spartans are no longer registered). All 3 buses are have been moved to a separate property behind the Gympie depot.

RoadRunner (408 GRF - MCA) has been removed from its school run in Tin Can Bay and is next to be withdrawn.

Notes to add;

Polleys still has “Galaxy” (withdrawn Hino RB8). The bus is being held derelict behind the Gympie depot.

Pelican, Kookaburra, Tigger and RoadRunner are also still located behind the depot. Tigger and RoadRunner are advertised for sale on Rodd Hood’s website.

667 VXV was put back into service some months ago and is now registered XQ 29UK (change already made)

271 MQZ (BCI) is re-reg XQ 48SQ

573 RII (Iveco) is re-reg XQ 15ZL

976 HEO (Rosa) is on private rego (assumed withdrawn)

Pelican 932 YAT is now unregistered and not in use. Polleys are still in possession of this bus, as with Tigger, Kookaburra and Galaxy.

Discovery 047 KKU has not been with Polleys for approx 3-4 years now.
