Not when you select second. It then takes off in that gear. Otherwise good point.

That's interesting! Like a winter mode?

It was my understanding on autos that selecting a gear locked it from going any higher, although I recall a friend with a Volvo 850 reporting theirs behaved similarly depending on which low-gear selection you made.

Yes pretty much. Also recommended for crawling in slow moving traffic. Just give the throttle a tickle and it moves along steady.

Mercedes cars commonly start off in second gear or did.

After going without for well over a month, couldn't help myself #2.
This time I mounted it to the mm as close as this chunky but most accurate model could possibly be.

Was sick of the chunky appearance of the 2000s Chicago Rawhide Hubodometer so I put this on. Looks way more appropriate even if it's for a bus wheel.
I want to put Michael Bublé's face on one and call it a Bublédometer!! You folks will be first to know should I do one.

These stainless steel Allen head bolts arrived by post so I set about grinding just over 1mm off the ends before fitting as they were a tad too long for the bolt bore. I think they look really neat and I decided to see how the only accurate one I have looked. Looks really purposeful with a commercial bent.

Would it be possible to make the rear wheels driven electrically with a battery and regen so you can have a four wheel drive if needed ?

The three Amigos. These are three I have wound up ready to roll to an even number in case I want to sell them.

I'd lose precious boot space and it would add weight.

Here's one for any wheel size - it doesn't work.
