Old Nowra bridge

Post by eddy »

I hesitated to start a new thread but I wondered if any general access 4.3m truck drivers were worried about going south over it with a 4.3m high truck.

Someone has hit the top of the first section and it has been reduced to 4.3 even though it is easily 4.4m high in the centre.

Truck drivers can relax because they have turned the sign off over the weekend.

There is a sign that tells vehicles over 4.3 to take the centre lane when it detects them and this was changed to 'low bridge 4.3m" which may have stopped many trucks but obviously someone realised this and switched it off.

The new Nowra bridge is working well. Unfortunately, you still get all the traffic heading to south Nowra.
