Apparently a train caught fire on the Midland line earlier. Wonder which set is it.

IDV001 was the train that caught on fire, and the story has been covered by the news. Here is my photo of the incident, taken after the flame was put out. The burnt section in the middle is clearly visible.

Until it's clear whose fault it is, I think that's a premature reaction.

For those who are free this evening, head to Joondalup as a certain private/charter operator is operating shuttles for the Perth Festival 2023's 'Djoondal' event with the first loop service departs Joondalup Station at 5:30PM/1730.

The Djoondal Shuttle bus was done by West Coast Bus Charters last night (12/2/2023) and the following buses (by registration) were:

1FBC861/ex-MTT/Transperth 487 - Mercedes-Benz O305G/JW Bolton
CVL4204/ex-MTT/Transperth 709 - Renault PR180.2/JW Bolton
1HQZ682/ex-ACTION BUS711 - Renault PR180.2/Ansair
1HGS991/ex-Transperth 1201 - Mercedes-Benz O405NH/Volgren CR225L
1HGJ905/ex-Transperth 1341 - Mercedes-Benz O405NH/Volgren CR225L
1HQN742/ex-Transperth 1527 - Mercedes-Benz O405NH/Volgren CR225L
1HGJ904/ex-Transperth 1834 - Mercedes-Benz O405NH/Volgren CR225L
1HGJ848 - MAN 18.350/King Long 6126AU
1HAT357 - MAN 18.290/MCV Elite S120

There was also a Scania/Higer and BCI which I did not take note of while I was there.

And Buswest 1GUQ673 (Mercedes-Benz OC500LE/Express Coach Builders) also made a random working appearance, mainly used for a special needs school run for Success Primary School and Atwell College but has somewhat joined the handful of other WCBC buses to facilitate wheelchair passengers!

Caught TP1665, TP1666, TP1667 and another unknown TP Volvo bus on Armadale road heading down South Western Highway, Bunbury direction.

I assume heading to Albany considering they (at least the three I saw clearly) were sporting TransAlbany stickers at the back.

Apparently 3341 is already in service at Warwick. That would make it either Karrinyup or Beenyup.
