Re: January 2023 timetable changes
Feels like missed opportunity - Not all service areas have been equipped for the permanent change to Sunday trading hours. I realise not all shops do trade from 9am;
but the fact that they can should have warranted a review of available services to or from shopping locations to allow workers and shoppers to travel with ease -and sime promotion of the availability. Feels like a forgotten aspect -even with Christmas trading hours , some services dont run early enough to get to the city before 9am - or from the city in some cases.
Given there must be some KM savings with covid timetables in operation... perhaps Labour has missed this opportunity for some balance. Chance to advertise any minor increases as a positive before looking at any other timetable changes.

Adelaide Metro zone should expand too. To Victor Harbor and Goolwa, these areas are popular especially during warm months, at the very least an hourly service should be provided between Victor Harbor and Seaford Station.thedom wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 8:21 pm Feels like missed opportunity - Not all service areas have been equipped for the permanent change to Sunday trading hours. Next station is Victoria Square. Change here for all trains.

The government haven't funded any new bus services except for school buses since the early to mid 2010's - why would they start nowthedom wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 8:21 pm Feels like missed opportunity - Not all service areas have been equipped for the permanent change to Sunday trading hours. Even then it was probably the education department paying for those.
