No wonder they are not pushing Opal for replacement services - out of the 9 vehicles shown, only the Punchbowl bus would have been Opal fitted.
I took four photos yesterday with a Transdev one and a Hillsbus one (the latter at Miranda) which would have been Opal fitted with a third from Port Stephens Coaches at Caringbah - a long way from home - a possibility. The fourth one would definitely not have been Opal fitted.
Two already on FlickR - I will be adding the other two by tomorow.

That Big Bus Co NH is interesting... I don't know who in their right mind would consider those headlights an upgrade, they're about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle compared to the original halogen lights (especially high beams) on those.

m/o 9432 gets used a lot as one of those "spare" buses at PSC. When PSC obtained it, it did make various appearances on the UON shuttle while one of their hybrid VSTH's was out of service, also seeing some time on Cruise Ship Shuttles, It's been a while since I've seen it in person. It is not fitted with Opal equipment and given the age of it it is unlikely it'll ever be.

It certainly looks nicer. The original front looks like it eats children.
