Somebody in Hong Kong seems to have solved at least half the problem of slow passenger exchange on double deckers!

Way to go, allow people to be responsible for thier own safety.
Boris Johnsone had the right idea when he wanted to bring back the London routemaster but all the "safety" people soon shut him down.
In 1960 I rode one for a year to school at Farnborough and kids waited until it was nearly stopped before getting on or off and nobody ever got hurt.
BALANCE is my favourite word but I see people being paid to show off in dangerous sport while the economy is being shut down because someone wants to cover their bum.
