Hello
The Pumpkin Bus Idea is great, I know they have one for the Northern Beaches as well, or they did if it's still running..?? Every Depot should have a Pumkin Bus or two, Services along Victoria and Parramatta Roads wouldn't go astray.

Yes, the "old" Pumpkin bus was MKV 3128 and as yet has not been repainted into STA corporate livey.

It is a government sponsored, summer only, Friday and Saturday, late night & early morning charter bus carrying drunken patrons from pub to pub.
I will ask one of the regular drivers, exactly what it does these days.
As far as I can remember the Pumpkin bus originally started after the Clovelly Hotel to Coogee Palace charter (paid for by the Clovelly Hotel) stopped running. The idea of the Clovelly to Coogee charter was to move the drunks quickly away from the Clovelly Hotel when it closed and deposit them at Coogee Beach near the Palace. Two bouncers (one on each door) traveled on every trip the bus operated.

Hopefully they keep 3128 as a back up :D

I thought it also included moving people away from Arden St Coogee as well?

Same livery as on 3932 (B10BLE) thats been on it for almost 8 months now which I had on tuesday night. Unfortunately our Mk 5 was stripped of its great looking orange colour scheme almost instantly.

Funny thing is our B10BLE no longer does the pumpkin bus because it only runs artics on it now, last time I did the pumpkin bus over 4 months ago i was packed to the rafters on the last trip out. I would love it if they put one of our bendies in these colours because then the trailer itself could be the pumpkin being pulled by the bus (even the the pumpkins pushing the bus lol) thats the look they have tried to go for in the current AOA.

Does anyone now remember what route number (s) were used for the Coogee Pumpkins bus?

I have heard both 330 and 999.

Thanks Robert
