And all "perfectly" co-ordinated to run within a few minutes of routes 21, 48 and 67, followed by nothing at all for up to 90 minutes - or until the next day if you missed all four of the 7:30pm departures. The 67 and (to a lesser extent) 21 were improved in the early 2000s, but the 60 stuck with its archaic Sunday timetable a while longer:

2008 finally saw an improvement to 12 trips each way, now running to an hourly frequency:

Which was eventually followed by an increase to every 30 minutes in 2013:

I can remember a Route 333 which ran from Morley to Midland to a Monday to Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays timetable.

Western half is now part of the 955 (at substantially improved frequency - particularly on weekends). The eastern half was withdrawn outright, no doubt due to duplicating the train line.

Going back a few months, back to this:

Was that on Southern 128? The only Pre-SSR one I have on file was effective 14th April 2007.

I lived in Darter Close briefly in the last decade and I didn't know there used to be a bus terminal on The Grange just outside my estate. Looks like the 133 got extended to Freo as the 533 after the Mandurah Line opened. Didn't remember seeing the 133 in Spearwood in the mid 2000s when I moved there, only 135, 136, 881 and 920.

The 533 shouldn't have been cut altogether, but could have been kept as some sort of feeder route like the old 133, serving the disused bus stops outside Beeliar IGA following the route amendment of 531. The amendment took place while I lived in Beeliar and I suggested that 532 could be amended to serve Beeliar IGA during the daytime hours and revert to its normal route after hours and during weekends.

There are a few bus bays along The Grange, and some very faded green signposts (sans route marker) that seem to align with the various termini indicated on this map (Southern 133, 10/12/2006)

The 533 lives on as a "531 with the Lot", although the Emmanuel Deviation via Bannigan Ave/Hammond Rd has since been removed. I'm also not sure what the need for servicing Yangebup Rd is (or if anyone ever uses that deviation). Suspect that Beeliar Village, Cockburn Gateway or Phoenix Park are more popular places for shopping than a local IGA, which might be why no service has been retained along Bluebush Ave. As development in Beeliar, and Munster progresses, I can see the 531 being rerouted to avoid more of Beeliar Dr (except around Beeliar Village which is the only point to 'cross' the railway). Would love to see some reorganisation of the services down there, as there's no particularly direct, frequent link between Fremantle and Cockburn, but that's beyond the scope of this thread.

So 133 did go all the way to Freo after all. However, it only ran like 1-2 trips on weekdays and nil on weekends, so I never got a chance to see it in action.

Maybe a long shot, but would anyone here know what routes 526, 527, 528 and 529 were back in the mid-90s (as shown here)? I assume an intermediate step between routes 778 and 780 (Perth to Canning Vale) in the 1980s, and routes 526 and 528 (only) in the early 2000s. And was 525 still Cannington to Canning Vale Prison, as it was in the 80s?

Also what was the 1990s version of route 554 over in Rockingham? Didn't seem to last too long from what I can find.

The old 528 was renumbered 217 in 2004. It was basically 208 without the Murdoch sector.
