Sorry to revive an old thread, but I was doing a Google search for the bus we now own (Rego search) and came across this thread.
I just created an account to let you know that this MAN is now a party bus on the South coast of NSW and living its day with happy party people.
Its "sibling" on the fleet is a Manual 6-speed HINO CM.

Moore's Tours TV698A -a photo I took yesterday - It is a Denning which is not in the fleet lists but a rego check confirms it is a Denning - lokking for some history of this bus.

And here is a another Moore's Tours bus taken in about the same spot a few minutes earlier - looks a bit different from its earlier liveries

That takes the cake in local waste of an easy access city bus chassis. Why??
It's worse than that Adelaide Scania N series full low floor bus bodied as a low entry.

As a 27 year old bus it would be too old for route service so it is good to see that it is still in use.
And Moore's Tours probably think it was too good to sell as they have not operated any route services since 2004.

I'm talking in the context of the time it was built. It no doubt continues to be a very dependable charter bus.
It's a bit of a throw back to when we saw Leyland Atlantean chassis get a CVI Gold star single deck body normally seen on a mid or front engine chassis. Worked fine but not making use of the chassis design intent.
