Former Qantas crew shuttle bus 462 is seen in Broadmeadow, Newcastle with it's new unknown operator on September 17th 2022. MAN 14.230 with NCBC Bodywork.

Any help that can identify this operator would be appreciated.

Looks very similar to the bus in this photo except that it has accreditation and a MAN badge on the front. Also Qantas number is not known.

Both are 1998 built The bus here has chassis ending in 0999 while the one in the other photo has 0997. Neither seems to appear in the fleet lists.

IIRC, there were similar buses on Scania chassis. They were LF, but had luggage bins on the near side instead of seats. Used for crew transfers to/from hotels.

They had to fit under the T3 terminal building with low clearance. The a/c units were suspended inside the saloon, rather than on the roof.
