Switch is part of the very large Indian based Ashok Leyland Group. There are two photos of the bus, one is of a single door bus and the second is of a 2 door, 2 staircase prototype (maybe) for Mumbai. The 2 door bus does look taller and is an amazing 4,750mm (or 15ft 7ins) in height - hope they will be doing a whole lot of tree pruning and building mods before the reported 200 enter service. Switch India has already secured an order of 200 electric double decker buses in Mumbai and is looking at a dominant space in the electric double decker segment, across key regions in the country.
Switch Mobility (originally known as Optare) is the UK subsidiary of Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland, and Indian transport company Chalo have entered into a strategic cooperation to deploy 5,000 electric buses across India.

Looking again at the photos, the first photo is of a 2 door, 2 staircase - the rear door is not that obvious though!! Perhaps both photos are of the same bus!!
