As compared to the fare as of January 2022, there's a slightly increase of the fares between 10c to 20c, The standard fare will be increased with 10c (for 2-Sections and 1-zone) and 20c (2+ -zones, DayRider and FamilyRider) respectively. For the concession fares there will be have 10c increase for 2+ -zones fares and 20c increase for DayRider fares.
The fare schedule will also applies to TransRegional services as well.

Why is there a need to have cash fares dialled into the nearest 10¢? Nearest 50¢ or $1 would be more than sufficient and reduce issues around giving change (whether by staff or vending machines). Even restricting ticket sales to cashless, it would make it easier to memorise.
Actually that leads into another question - when other payment technologies are made available, will the SmartRider discount be extended to those, or scrapped altogether?
