Back in 2007, Michelle was engaged to Greg, the son of the owner Alex. She came in and fastidiously implemented some huge changes, stamping her indelible authority over the bus company Horizons West. She was a real mover and shaker. One of her huge legacies was to draw up a new business card. The true coach captains....but a distant memory alas.....

Thank you for adding that.If anyone has ones of those business cards it would make this topic more interesting.

Bill & Doreen hand, one coach operation sundowner coach tours north ryde.
Outback tours including Simpson desert , Kimberley's , gun barrel highway etc
Last coach was a denning bogie drive centre engine on super single tyres

Sundowner tours used to depart from out front of the clipper tours depot in macquarie park, Jeff Spence may have this coach at riverstone today ( very sad condition )

Imageif you ever get the chance to get a copy of this book, its well worth a read. All about Bill and Dorenes travels. Great little book. And this is comming from someone who doesnt like to read books!

I remember that coach featured in "Truck & Bus" and it was on display at the bus show when it was new I think.

mrs pricella warren, who as one of the few woman operaters in sydney,who carried on running a bus service surrounded by govt routes untill the early 70's on routes 222/227 in inner sydney.................there were not many female owners in the sydney bus industry! {and i'm a bit bias] THOSE WHO KNOW ME KNOW WHY! :oops: :roll: :D WHO told me at the tender age of 14 washing buses...........................if you are going to have a accident............."hit something cheap" :oops:

Max Williams - Yass and his dad Jack Williams who started Yass - Canberra Coaches in 1954 and in the early 80s became transborder or TBX as it is known now . Jack passed away a couple of years ago but in the Canberra Yass region all started with him.
