Watching DW television this morning where Germany will spend 100 billion euros on building their own weapons plus greening Germany and I thought perhaps if they had turned on Nord 2 while making it clear to Russia if is turned off it stays off this war in Ukraine would have been avoided.

I think it was worth a try rather than all the destruction caused because Putin would be losing a good customer if he tried any attack while Germany would have time and money to go green.

Putin could not care at all about that.

I suppose I am an optimist and I am sure some of the 800,000 people who viewed this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJplFVLQ85M&t=5s may agree with me as in a few months many poor people will starve to death.

I was glad that Scomo eventually called the election, with all the disease and war and turmoil going on, I thought what the Christians regard as the second coming of their King, saviour and perhaps viable leader of Australia and the world, Jesus Christ of Nazareth was imminent. For now it seems like the contest is between Scomo and Albo only

As Putin has painted himself into a corner it may be a good time to follow the Chinese general, military strategist, writer and philosopher Sun Tzu who wrote that when an army surrounds its enemies it is prudent to “leave an opening”. This strategy is often referred to as building a “Golden Bridge” as it allows one's enemy to avoid certain defeat through escape.

This could be easily done by turning on Nord 2 and spending the extra defence on greening Germany until it is independent on gas the only proviso is if it is turned off it stays turned off and he will lose a good customer.

It is always easier to start a war than to stop it and all Ukraine had to do was say whatever and Germany to turn on Nord 2 with the understanding if it gets turned off it stays off and Russia loses a good customer while the whole world gets greener.

They should have done this a month ago and America should have allowed the pipeline to be connected then, now the whole world suffers and the poor countries will starve.

Well I'll keep this as respectful as I can on my end, nevertheless I'm thrilled Scott from Marketing is out & that we can have a much overdue break from the Liberals.

There will be no uncertainty through that the MSM will be working overtime for the next three years to throw the ALP under the bus In anyway they can including when it comes to cleaning up a lot of the mess the Liberals have created, society will just have to tread carefully around the puff pieces and perhaps not take it word for word especially given the MSM can & will turn the smallest of issues into the biggest concern & now that ALP will be behind the wheel there is again no doubt we will never hear the end of it, compared to say Liberal concerns being pushed under the rug by the end of the week.

I will end this post through on one comment and this may get a bit red but needs to be said, If Scott had pulled his hands out away from his ears and actually listened, there is a good chance the Liberals may not have lost the election. Instead he decided to flock off overseas while the country was burning & then tell the states that the handling of the pandemic is their own business and he will NOT step in to help, people might think ALP is not the brightest bulbs but just remember for years the issues liberals have put us through, never forget Robodebt either.

With the liberals defeated federally that leaves NSW and Tasmania as being run by the libs but NSW might become labor 10 months from now then there might a chance the libs could win the Victorian state election in November

Watch the boats resume under Labor. They are at the behest of the greens who have a policy of open slather migration.
The people traffickers are constantly monitoring the political climate of this country. They have the green light now. Labor are inherently opposed to strict measures the Libs are prepared to implement.

What a load of nonsense - it’s been widely reported they support Operation Sovereign Borders. The days of Rudd and his policy are over.

There's no way NSW will stay as a Liberal state for much longer, if not for the National party. "Secret Dictatorship" cases such as Narrandera basically make it a de-facto Coalition state.

Perhaps I should have said that Mr Albanese supports Operation Sovereign Borders - not necessarily his whole party. If there’s a leadership change, perhaps this policy would end up changing too.

One needn't look too far to see who the candidates for PM will be in the event history starts to repeat itself.
