does any B8RLE fleet that had ad place located near the back wheel like this

because i saw all B8 that had a ad on left side located on normal location near back door. (even bus that based on depo that usually put their ad near back wheel)

2000-2012 were delivered new to Malaga
2013-2097 were delivered new to Trigg.

Just before the handover of the Marmion Contract, a number of those were moved around to both Malaga and Bayswater. I can't remember exact numbers, but Baysie had a lot of 204x's, possibly some 203x's and possibly some 205x's.

Malaga had 2013 upwards to about 2027 or something IIRC.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

2791 was delivered to Malaga over 2 weeks ago, but hasn't entered service yet (seen it sit over at the same spot at the back of Malaga depot up until yesterday).

Just because it was delivered there, doesn't mean it will stay there

Anyone know where we are at with the cascade movements between Rockingham/Fremantle/Karrinyup ?

Last I have is 2069 to Rocko, 2276 to Karrinyup and 1950 to Freo

OCs 1594-1603 are officially gone, leaving 1591 and 1592 as the sole survivors of the batch of OC midis originally allocated to Swan Transit. 1234-78 are also off the road now and the days of the 1200s are certainly numbered.

1591 and 1592, as well as 2065-97 have been privileged to serve under all 3 operators in the metro area. This honour was previously bestowed on 1220-1230, 1820 and 1822-28. In particular, the midis spent most of their time in Joondalup, which has changed hands twice. B7s 2175-86 also have served 3 different operators.

2777-82 still retain their original seating arrangement even after being redeployed as CAT buses in Perth.

Also, the 10-year lifespan for 2139-45 seems to be drawing near. We might be seeing them get redeployed sometime soon. My guess is they might be replacing the early 0100s when their registration runs out.

Not sure however I did see 3127 turning left onto Armadale road from Tonkin highway a day or so ago could at SR doubtful I’ll have to check however could have been on rail replacement

Both 3007 and 3026 were moved to the Claremont area some years back when the 950 artic mandate took effect, although 3026 now seems to be in the Midvale area.

Given those two seemed only to make the briefest of appearances during the AM & PM peak while at SR, I guess perhaps we won't see artics down there again for a while. Not sure how much work Canning Vale or Beckenham do around Armadale, Kelmscott and surrounds, but perhaps any trips needing the artic could be covered by those depots in future.

CV & Beckenham run the 519 before the timetable changes they would run the odd 241, 245, 250 or 251 to fill in a gap before going back to Murdoch so occasionally you would see the rare artic out in Byford in midday

The tender has gone out for the North Jandakot depot it’s purely for the Armadale line shutdown 104 buses will be stowed at the facility on Karel Ave

Given the shutdown length that isn't a surprise. Although the question is, where are the buses coming from? Hastened deliveries of newbies, more older buses held back from retirement, outsourcing to a fourth contractor?

There's been rumblings for years in the ranks that another depot is coming out that way, so it's bit of a surprise to hear it will only be used for the rail shutdown.

I’ve gone through and it doesn’t state if it’ll be new deliveries or not it does seem as though it’ll be upgraded to a full time depot once the shutdown is complete however it does that the depot will be operated purely by swan

If Jandakot is operated by Swan, chances are it is an overflow facility for CV or its possible replacement. Though I feel it is better for Freo package to park their buses for Cockburn Central routes (520/525/526/530/531/532/534/535/536) at Jandakot like what Swan currently does at Beenyup.

Did... did you really miss what the entire point of Jandakot Depot is? It's being built, PURELY for the Armadale Line Shutdown. No further plans have been announced via the tender.

I think it’s obvious it’ll be used for future service expansion upon completion of the TCL and shutdown a proposed high frequency route will run between Thornlie & Maddington stations with a number of other key corridors getting a 900 series upgrade as confirmed by metronet in some of the community Facebook groups there’s also plans for a future BRT corridor along Armadale road and having a depot purely for the shutdown makes sense from a logistical standpoint I’m guessing PTA are anticipating large scale road closures along Oats street, Rutland Ave, Welshpool road & Wharf street which may prevent the PATH depots from accessing the western side of the railway line without sizeable deviations that would include the circle route, 282/283 & all Cannington Path Routes some of the temporary shutdown routes that are being proposed could also be upgraded to full time if popular the Byford extension would also increase the workload at southern river as there would significant expansion with the Byford & south western highway bus service so I can see the depot being used to cater for a future service expansion as the TCL & Byford extension become operational. The Yanchep extension includes for a depot in Alkimos

New Fremantle and Rockingham/Mandurah area contracts have been awarded to Transdev, maintaining their southern stronghold. These contracts come into effect from October 2 and will operate for a 10 year period.

Transdev remains in business. (Admin Some text deleted)

I believe next packages to get farmed out are Kalamunda/Canning/Southern River. Or it might be Morley/Midland.

From what I heard, Swan Transit were frozen out of this round of bidding due to them already controlling 6 packages. I won't be surprised if Path Transit get Midland if that one is tendered together with Morley as a mega package.

If Kalamunda gets farmed out first alongside Canning and Southern River, it makes sense for Path Transit to grab all 3, even if it means losing Morley at the next round.

The following areas are best suited for cross regional deployment and are best operated by one single operator:

Claremont/Marmion
Marmion/Joondalup
Morley/Midland
Kalamunda/Canning
Canning/Southern River

A lot of speculation there... lets not get too carried away with "what if" scenarios. Morley and Midland went up at the same time last round and there was no change to the operators of either of those contracts, so it is anyone's guess as to who might win future contracts. It will entirely depend on the quality/quantity of bid submissions and the PTA's assessment criteria.
