Trans City Express Coaches.

Post by Denv12 »

I remember the company Trans City Express.I think they were based in NSW,maybe Dubbo. I have one photo of one of their coaches when it being completed at PMC Adelaide. How many other coaches did they have? What were they? If you can contribute to this topic please.

The parent Co was Western Road Liners based at Parkes and they carried WRL colours.

Thanks bjg154.That is an impressive list of coaches to start with. How long were they in business for? What express services did they run?

They were based in Parkes NSW, they chose to withdraw from Express lanes after the Kempsey Bus crash and concentrate on local and School runs

The 1989 Kempsey bus crash didn't result in Western Road Liners exiting the express coach market, Trans City continuing to operate until 1992.
