Scania n113. Number 649

Post by 649motorhome »

G.day all. We have just bought our new project, ex metro Hobart. Number 649. A Scania n113. I'd really like to hear from people who know these rigs. Looking for any tips on electrics and mechanics. Im thinking I'd need to know how to program the throttle. Etc, . Im a bit concerned about these crazy looking voith transmissions and where to find filters etc. Any info would be appreciated.

Great. From the service and repair record, I'm sure I'll need to know a few things like programming throttle and gear selection solenoids for a start

That's it. I'm really chasing a wiring diagram and how to get fault codes up. Will an obd reader work?. Someone who has worked on these rigs would have some valuable info. I'm just giving the batteries a charge so I can start and make sure I've got movement after taking out door mechanism. I've bridged the micro switches so should be fine. I previously had taken out the bulk head and wondered why the bloody horn kept going off when I put her in drive, bloody drivers door sensor.
