Ex-TP O305? Anyway, Swan seems to have a run of bad luck lately. Apparently 1597 and 1598 were totalled when a truck ran into the back of one of them in front of Livingston last year.
Keep in mind that Swan Transit runs around half the fleet at the moment. Over 700 buses, each averaging ~200km every single day... When your fleet as a whole averages 150,000km every single day accidents are more or less guaranteed. It's just the way the world works. Same goes for all other operators.

Plus, as mentioned every time this topic comes up, just because accidents don't make the news doesn't mean they don't happen.
In your opinion is 1626 repairable? It looks to have taken a massive hit to the right side.

Also, had 2233 been spotted out and about yet? I understand the poor driver had to face court over the crash in Mandurah lst year.

In my opinion based on what I can see I'd say 1626 is probably fixable but it's hard to judge as there's a lot that you can't see in the pictures, ie. if the chassis is damaged etc.

2233 has not returned yet.

It varies on insurance, extent and cost of the damage and value of the vehicle if it costs more to repair than the vehicles current market value it’ll be written off by the insurer. 1597/98 were also quite extensively damaged and weren’t repaired either I’d say 1626 would join them on the backfence as “repairable write offs” the early 1500/1600 coach air OC500s aren’t really of much value to PTA either they’ll probably just take the money and replace it with a thermoking 2000 series from Karrinyup not to mention the OC500 is up for official withdrawal too

At a rough guess, I'd say if the damage is substantial, then 1626's time will be up. Being 2005/2006 deliveries, the 16xx's don't have too much longer left.

I'd also say that TP1462 would be on the ball, regarding the transfer of another 20xx from Karrinyup as a replacement. However, we shall see what happens in the near future I'd say.

1342, 43, and 44 were put back in service quite a while ago to cover for OCs away at refurb. 3105 was noted during the Fremantle line full closure in February.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

That's not unusual as I have seen Karrinyup buses on 389's, 384's & 970's amongst other former Transdev services.
Looking to getting more Transperth bus, train and ferry models made up through Transit Graphics.
Currently driving for The Transporter & Buswest Wangara.

Apparently it was quite common during the Path Transit era. Even Malaga Transcoms ever served on the old 373.

Yes, Swan Transit has had control of the Joondalup contract for well over a year now so it is not new or unusual to see shared running between Karrinyup and Joondalup, particularly with Wanneroo Rd and Mirrabooka Station services, so can we please stop posting them here?

In other words, please remember this rule outlined below.
PTA / Transperth related observations should relate to sightings of unusual, unrecorded and interesting occurrences, such as buses out of their normal operating area or on routes that are unusual to be seen on.

Was driving along Corfield street and saw that 2021 has succeeded 1626 at Southern River which looks like it’s on the back fence at Canningvale

Even though 2021 has been at SR for quite a few weeks... Come on, it's not that hard to find it's been at SR for that long.

Cheers!
Officially the last person to tag off the 381 - 20/5/16.
Second last person to tag off the last timetabled 16 - 23/08/19.
Last person to tag off a Transdev Joondalup service - 19/1/20.

Ex-Adelaide 1958/R958 which is now owned by Horizons West was seen on a test drive around the Welshpool area earlier this morning.

Only a handful of drivers there with Rear Steer experience, so probably training a few more up before it goes into service.

Spotted Adams C103 (CVL3209) on the Roe Highway and is now painted in black and white similar to West Coast Bus Charter's base livery.

After being off-traffic since October following its nasty smash, it's worth noting 2233's registration hasn't been renewed and is looking like it will expire on the 31st.

Remains to be seen if it will return to service or not, however. Though given it has been over five months by now, my confidence is starting to wane a little.
