Just saw new artics without TransLink logos in the city today. One on Victoria Bridge southbound undergoing driver training, and one just passed by Elizabeth Street. Not sure whether they are the same bus or not.

Yup. Yet to be sprayed in the blue cityglider livery. Makes sense that they are doing driver training as most of the drivers at E probobly dont have much experiance driving artics.

It seems to be 1 or 2 running around naked doing driver training, most are back at the depot in cityglider livery.

I wonder when they'll be put on :?:

I have too noticed that some Toowong buses have been running some Route 60 services over the past week or so. Could it be anything to do with covering some of the runs/drivers from Eagle Farm that are out doing driving training on the new artics?

Exactly right Cazza. I too have seen some Ts on route 60 and that seems like the only logical reason! :D

I know this is old news but a while age a lot of you were wondering what happened to S2068. There has been nothing on the matter since. I keep forgetting to post this so please don’t pick me up on it, but this is really for people who don’t live in Brisbane or haven’t been to Toowong depot for a while.

I have seen S2068 at Toowong depot multiple times parked in a lane. Even seen it running. It was repaired at T and should be returned to S soon! All the damage completely repaired.

That would be S1664.
That would be E1664. It will be wrapped in Blue Glider Livery.
My apologies! Unsure why I said S instead of E.

Just seen an S tag (S2005) on a 234 about an hour ago. Is this a normal occurrence?? Seems rather odd to put an S on an eastern route! 🙃

I wonder if they'll all be used on glider services - because 19 rigids and 11 artics on route 60 seems highly excessive

Yay! New rigids! Will be sure to let you all know if I see them on a 38X or 37X route!

Does anyone know what the older buses stored at Sherwood depot are? They look like preserved high floor buses from aerial photography and have been there for about 3 years.

I would assume they'd be MK4s preserved for maybe rail replacement by the looks of things

If anyone has any information on these buses at Sherwood (BT employees), and you are either not a member of would rather keep it off of a public forum. Email me at 385buz@gmail.com

It looks like QOCS 80 and 498, unless there are others I don't see.

Cheers!
Officially the last person to tag off the 381 - 20/5/16.
Second last person to tag off the last timetabled 16 - 23/08/19.
Last person to tag off a Transdev Joondalup service - 19/1/20.

Spot on. Looks like preserved heritage buses.

Transport for Brisbane do not do rail replacement services.

Off The Rails was on the money. Looks like QOCS preserved vehicles 185, 498, 722 and 827.

The fleet number for 185 is visible on the roof.

The other vehicles are identifiable by the position of the roof hatches and the distinctive tapered rear end.

This is purely from aerial photography and looking at pictures of the QOCS fleet on their website.

Yeah! That seems like all the pieces of the puzzle have fitted together now!

QOCS dont have their own facility at the moment so BT are likely hosting some for the timebeing!
