Should I assume 2992 is taking its spot?

I don't think 2990-2992 have been delivered yet.

If you looked at previous messages, you'll see 2090 is now at Rockingham, replacing 2255.
Cheers!
Officially the last person to tag off the 381 - 20/5/16.
Second last person to tag off the last timetabled 16 - 23/08/19.

More like 2090 is replacing 1969 now that 1251 has been laid up.Off The Rails wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 1:59 amIf you looked at previous messages, you'll see 2090 is now at Rockingham, replacing 2255.

1969 is technically swapped for 2987, which I saw out in service this morning
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
i was thinking why does transdev send their 22xx fleet to swan for swap with karrinyup not 26xx and 29xx considering some of this series already at SWan. is it because they send the volvo optimus to karrinyup based on aged. Also speaking of volvo optimus will 2156 (only 21xx normal livery optimus that not going to transdev) moves also to swan as part of Swap or they just use 22xx.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
I think it's because 2156 is a MH bus. 2249-55 were all Rocko ones.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
2246-50 we're MH buses, 2251-55 we're based at Rockingham.Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 2:52 am I think it's because 2156 is a MH bus. 2249-55 were all Rocko ones.
Some of the 2900 series B7s (2935-38, 2959) from Freo got sent to MH to replace 2246-50.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
2246-2255 were all originally based at Rockingham however earlier this year as the last of the Mandurah NH's were being withdrawn 2246-2250 were moved to Mandurah with Rockingham receiving new deliveries to replace them. 2246-2250 wern't at Mandurah for very long as they were then moved again to Karrinyup to faciliaite the current cascade of movements. From my observations (i could be wrong) it appears the PTA is distrubuting it's fleet amoungst the depots based on age these days.komen_413 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 4:00 am2246-50 we're MH buses, 2251-55 we're based at Rockingham.Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 2:52 am I think it's because 2156 is a MH bus. 2249-55 were all Rocko ones.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
That's a valid point Sylar.
Even if Karrinyup are getting older 2200s, these are still several years younger than the gas buses they replace. And in turn, the 2000s are newer than the 1900s, which are newer than the 1200s presently being parked up, awaiting their fate.
Now whether that is the rationale, or if the idea is to consolidate the remaining gas buses to just a small number of depots, I have absolutely no idea.

Well, it was earlier mentioned by someone that the CNG contracts for KP and WP weren't getting renewed, so only diesel buses would be based there eventually.Merc1107 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 11:32 am That's a valid point Sylar.

Yesterday morning I saw tp0100 bus being involved in an incident along manning road. I noticed that the bus windscreen was shattered.

If it ain't repairable it would be the first documented case of a Path Transit OC500 being written off in an accident.Shoudy Chen wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 8:03 pm Yesterday morning I saw tp0100 bus being involved in an incident along manning road. I noticed that the bus windscreen was shattered.

Spotted 2097 in Mandurah this arvo. Didn't realise they sent gas buses down here - probably a Rockingham bus. I don't usually take any notice of buses when I'm not at work but it caught my eye as I last drove it when it was at Southern River in November last year.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
yeah they did for 558. The interesting thing some of this shift after doing 558 then do (592/593/594) (forget which one) then return to mandurah then 558.which goes far south of transperth network region.busdriver12 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 10:48 pm Spotted 2097 in Mandurah this arvo. Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021

Once again, it would help if you took the time to search before posting, as you would find that this was already posted here a month ago.

2992 made a visit to Big Wheels Welshpool earlier this morning.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
1472 came back from refurb today, appears as it's not going to regional depot for now.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2021
2988, 2989 and 2990 all entered service at Rockingham today

Both 2696 and 2440 have been retrofitted with new CCTV cameras, which are in a completely different style to both the new B8 contract cameras and the previous silver ones. They look like the ones to the right in the image below:
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Abit ironic as I photographed 2790 on a 34T just this Monday!Woolies_truck wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 7:26 pm 1429, 2790 Welshpool > Malaga
