I presume those are the CR228 Volvos. Are they used for regular service too?Squiddy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 4:15 amIt's pretty random, but 1346-1348, 1569-1571 have all been seen running them, along with random B7s (mostly from Beckenham).Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 2:59 am
Which others are on Covid shuttle duties other than 1347?

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
Most shuttle B7s are early Optimus models as far as I've seen, some of Southern River's OCs have been seen assisting in some cases. Basically any spare TP buses from wherever they can be sourced, though it looks like mainly Path and ex/Swan buses were used. Most non-NH buses are still used for regular service.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
2811 has been transferred to Midvale seen it this morning along Morrison rd in Swan view
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
2975 and 2976 both entered service at Rockingham today, which should spell the end for the first two CR226Ls 1215 and 1216.
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
The article seems to have been removed. Anyway, 2233 is one of the oldest B7s isn't it?
1566 seen on 60 earlier this evening. Thought it got killed by 2780? Also spotted what looked like 1885. If it was on the road, it means it might never have been impounded for investigations by the crash squad.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
Yes, 2233 is one of the elder B7s. For reference, 1462 was the first B7 for TP, registered in May 2011, while 2233 was registered in April 2012. I'd put at least 60 B7s between the two. Article is here: Dawesville Bypass crash | Mandurah Coastal Times. It seems the picture has been removed, rather than the article. The only picture in the article doesn't show rego or fleet number, although I'll take Squiddy's word for it. While I have my own theories about the crash, I won't share them here. However, if 2233 is written off, it would be the first B7 withdrawn permanently from active PTA service.
1566-1568 are still fairly active out of Malaga, it isn't rare for me to see one of them roaming around Warwick every few days.

While 2780 has been registered, pretty sure it hasn't been delivered yet. That said, I think 1566-68 were technically replaced already by 2776-2778, but the NHs are sticking around for a little bit longer.Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 11:59 pm 1566 seen on 60 earlier this evening. Hope the Transdev Mandurah driver is fine. From the article, she seemed pretty banged up.

2041-44 have returned from refurb. Also, in what I believe is a first for Transit Systems (in Perth), 2561 and 2562 are rocking moustaches for the Movember movement.

Spotted 2310 down at redcliff depot earlier today
Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
2495 Canning Vale -> Midvale
2016 Karrinyup -> Southern River
(that would mean this bus move from each depo 4 times. (Karrinyup 2009-2014, Southenr River 2014-2019, Karrinyup 2019-Oct 2020, then Southern River oct 2020).
although i not sure is this bus actually when first deliver is for karrinyup depot.

It seems 2904 and 2677 are rocking moustaches as well. Any other Swan buses rocking a mo'?

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
So far from what I noticed in Midland Midvales 2533&2535 have got it. 2535 has also kept the Volvo badge and the MO is underneath the bagde, unlike some buses which have (temporary) lost the badgeBus Suggestions wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 11:47 am It seems 2904 and 2677 are rocking moustaches as well. 2495 seen running a 101TA this evening, so is in fact still at Canning Vale and has not moved to Midvale.

Pasha, 2016's been back at SR since May.
Other observations - SR's 3007 and 3026 seem to be getting more use compared to their previous permanent shifts, as both have been seen at Armadale Station around 5:30pm and 6:30pm in the last few days.
Cheers!
