Those B8s are all killing off NHs. On that same note, shiny newbie 2897 spotted out and about today.Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 3:46 pm 2482 originally from which depot? I know 2812 was with SP.
Could the transfer of 2096 and 2097 have something to do with the influx of B8s in the Marmion region? A shiny new B8 was photographed on 990 lately.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
AFAIK 2096 and 2097 moving probably don't have much to do with the new B8s. All the OCs are Karrinyup buses, while the B8s are replacing Beenyup NHs. However, there could be some shifts changing about allowing more Beenyup and Joondalup runs replacing Karrinyup runs and indirectly freeing up 2 OCs. My morning 387 used to be a Karrinyup shift, it has since become a Beenyup shift, as well as some other Warwick and Stirling oriented trips I've seen.
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Word on the street is that SR may be down a couple of buses, hence 2448 also being there. Could explain 2096 and 2097.
821 (3816) seen in Baldivis today, on it's way back to Busso after going in for Refurb. My sources tell me 809 (040) will be up shortly, for the same reason.

i think is more related to when the 201x move back to karrinyup from SR. so the result make SR down a couple of bus and usually if SR may couble down of bus they send some nh temporary but is not. I wonder will some 3200 deliver to SR because now 2448 already there.Bus Suggestions wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 12:13 am AFAIK 2096 and 2097 moving probably don't have much to do with the new B8s. I think now karrinyup shift is a reduce quite long time. because when i went to whitfords last year i rarely seen beenyup bus while for scarborough (near karrinyup) there are some beenyup which look like there are more beenyup shift than karrinyup.
also if i shift organizer for SWAn, i would try to organize shift from that route to closest depot. (eg: Cambridge st feeders i probably replace as much the beenyup shift and some karrinyup shift to Mt Claremont/Shenton Park Shift (like on the weekend).
While for 384/970, Also i would also replace a lot of joondalup shift in there and replace with more wangara shift or even karrinyup in there. The joondalup shift i would move to Warwick feeder, Stirling feeder and 387/388 and 389.
the problem is beenyup is too close with joondalup.
Also is someone know ratio between Malaga and bayswater shift on circle route. Is it 5050 or is more bayswater shift in there. Because i remember before 2016, path circle all run by malaga and i hear that in 2018 that they plan to reduce a lof morley shift on circle route and replace more by bayswater shift.

2096 and 2097 are permanent transfers to Gosnells as 1597 and 1598 have been written off in an accident.

What accident were 1597 and 1598 involved in? I don't recall any coverage of it.

Yeah man. The last accident I'm aware of was 1298 and the last fire I read about was 109.Bus Suggestions wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 4:59 pm What accident were 1597 and 1598 involved in? I don't recall any coverage of it.
Surprised 1850 survived taking a hit from 2441 despite its advanced age.

Beenyup was constructed when Joondalup area was still run by Transdev. Even the location of Beenyup Depot is inside Joondalup area.pasha241 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:30 ami think is more related to when the 201x move back to karrinyup from SR. so the result make SR down a couple of bus and usually if SR may couble down of bus they send some nh temporary but is not. Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
Not all accidents are covered by the media etc. 1597 is parked on the back fence at SR, next to 1593, with its front end caved in. 1598 is elsewhere off site. I understand however, that the 2 buses were not at fault.Bus Suggestions wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 4:59 pm What accident were 1597 and 1598 involved in? I don't recall any coverage of it.

Re: PTA / Transperth & Private Observations - 2020
1593 was infamous for getting hit by a train.
Did 1597 and 1598 hit each other by any chance? Both of them getting written off together leaves Swan with just 4 OC Midis now (1594-6, 1599).

The answer to that is in my post above (ie not responsible for the accident).Enviro 500 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 2:21 pm 1593 was infamous for getting hit by a train.

Did both accidents happen during the same period as both vehicles were written off on the same day?
Also, at the back of Malaga Depot visible from Victoria Road is a vehicle covered in a tarpaulin. Could that be the remains of 0109?

In Welshpool this morning, looks weird seeing rigids with 3xxx fleet numbers!
Also, note this one doesn't have those wheel nut covers fitted on the front wheels. Wonder if that's a thing they're doing now or if they'll be fitted at a later date?
