One of the Thornlie Line services this morning stopped at Beckenham.
The one who catches the Perth Stadium bus like an illegal immigrant by only to gunzel for buses & trains and/or to go anywhere else.

TP3085 always operates the first 654 trip to Perth Stadium.

If we're talking about trains, how about the one I had on Thursday afternoon which stopped seven times between Mandurah and Warnbro due to signal issues (ending up taking 34min between the two stations which is timetabled as 13min)

All the 1300s are done :D 1398 came back around the same time 1414 was done in December, 1399 came back a week or so ago as well.

2016 is also back and I'm pretty sure 2011 has come back too

Oh boy, such an incredibly minor change I only noticed today (and haven't seen anywhere else), in early September they tweaked the logo on the new deliveries and refurbs. The early ones have the globe thingy on the right side, and on everything since has it on the left. This only happens on the driver's side, the logo closest to the door hasn't changed. Hope it bothers you as much as it bothers me

 I thought they were all delivered with the globe (or circle 't' as I've also seen them called) to the left on the driver's side. I personally prefer the globes on the right.

Volvo B8RLE 2968, the newest bus in the Joondalup Contract, had the honours for the last timetabled trip under Transdev. Was the 468F at 12:39am, arriving at Joondalup Station at 1:02am.

Cheers!
Officially the last person to tag off the 381 - 20/5/16.
Second last person to tag off the last timetabled 16 - 23/08/19.
Last person to tag off a Transdev Joondalup service - 19/1/20.

Another fleet shambles yet again. Various 2900s up until 2958 in Joondalup contract, 2959-2964 in Fremantle, 2965-2968 in Joondalup, 2969+ in Fremantle. Very easy to keep track. But as others have said, it's a case of pull a number out of a hat.

There's no logic to it... 2965 and 2966 were pretty much delivered together, why not send 2965 to Freo and 2966 to Joondalup? 2933 is another weird one... but hey, I guess this is what we're stuck with for the foreseeable future:

2900-2905 Wangara (Swan)
2906-2908 Mandurah (Transdev)
2909-2910 Wangara (Swan)
2911 Mandurah (Transdev)
2912-2916 Fremantle (Transdev)
2917-2923 Wangara (Swan)
2924-2927 Joondalup (Swan)
2928-2931 Rocky (Transdev)
2932 Fremantle (Transdev)
2933 Joondalup (Swan)
2934-2938 Fremantle (Transdev)
2939-2958 Joondalup (Swan)
2959-64 Fremantle (Transdev)
2965 Joondalup (Swan)
2966 Fremantle (Transdev)
2967-68 Joondalup (Swan)
2969 Rockingham (Transdev)

It’s been a dogs breakfast for a number of years now I can understand the logic behind fleet uniformity however I think it’s just a matter of having buses deployed where needed

Of course, obviously they send buses where they're needed. And at the end of the day, in the age of spreadsheets and programs that can track all this stuff it really doesn't matter what stickers are on the side of the bus. A bus is a bus. But with that said, it is still mildly irritating how little thought goes into the allocations these days.

I fear we may be getting a little off topic...

CVL3187 which is the only Lion's City Hybrid-bodied MAN NL323F had its livery stripped off, awaiting to either have a new wrapping or an even unfortunate decision to be withdrawn.

The common name for the Round Transperth Logo that has been used by most of us Gunzels since that logo was first brought in, around 2003/2004, is "The Pacman T" or "Pacman Logo".

2017 has made the move back south to Southern River, after spending some time at Karrinyup. I believe nothing went up as a replacement.

Cheers!

These won't be unusual as such, but as of the contract changes, the 38x Wanneroo Rd routes have become joint Karrinyup-Wangara-run and the 441-447 Warwick-Whitfords routes have become primarily Joondalup-run.

It's certainly unusual in the context of the last few years, but this is the sort of operation (i.e. more global running) that I believe helped Swan gain the Joondalup area, in addition to what the Transport Minister stated regarding their ability to provide a high level of permanent, full time jobs.

Someone else will have to chime in on what happened when Karrinyup and Joondalup were run by PATH, as I'm sure I've heard tales of how they tied these areas up with the Morley contract.

Shared running is common in the Canning and Gosnells areas. Previously, Welshpool (Kalamunda package) buses used to help out on 206, 507 and 508 too.

It's been a mutt's breakfast since Path Transit wrested control over the Kalamunda package that didn't include 1435-9. The diesel OC500LEs were quite a nightmare though, as they were scattered across Midvale and Walliston.

Still can't forget 23 Westport CNG O405NHs getting moved to Palmyra, while 32 diesel versions were shipped off to Wanneroo in 2007-8. Never managed to figure out why.
