AEC delivered to MTT

Post by GO BUS »

Hello, just reading through the January 1966 edition of Truck and Bus. In the deliveries section it advises the delivery of an AEC with the following detail;

MTT Perth W.A 1 X AEC with PMC NSW body 46 metropolitan seats delivered November 1965.

I thought this bus unusual and looked through your fleet lists, however I could not locate it.
Would anyone have any details of this bus and what may have happened to it?
Many Thanks

First I have heard of it. Definitely wasn't delivered to the MTT or any other operator in Western Australia.

No PMC NSW bodied buses supplied to MTT Perth either.

Thanks anyway Dennis 96. This is the clipping I was looking at. Possibly an error in the publication, maybe a trial bus or something.

Can anyone suggest what the T, M SB, etc suffixes in TYPE column represents?

My understanding is M for metro seats, T for coach seats, LD reclining coach seats, SB school bus seats ( 3/2?)

UF = Underfloor Engine I'd assume
